I have the R15M close to 8 months now. The only real concern i have with it is the rear monoshock is too soft when you're trying to push the bike. A stiffer rear suspension will make a big difference since the bike is very easy to divebomb into corners. The steel twin spar frame does wonders to handling but sadly the tires dont do the frame any justice. Switching to better tires and maybe a slightly wider rear tire would make the bike more stable. As it is, its best to leave the TCS on since the bike isn't as stable as it could be at high cornering speeds. Again, a wider rear tire may make it more stable on corner entry but i havent tried it yet. Gearing is also very much track-focused. Very tall gears make it not a very good daily ride since the peak torque comes in above the middle of the rev range, making 1st gear pretty much useless. 2nd to 4th gear power is great althroughout the rev range though

OH! thank you for the testimony! i hope people who are leaning towards this bike sees this comment. I apprciate this :)
also, would you say that the R15m rear suspension is the same as the sniper150/155? because as far as i remember those rear shocks are kinda soft or bouncy for cornering.

@@VelvetPancakeMedia the swingarm doesn't look the same with the sniper 155 but may still use the same rear suspension. They also don't share the same frame where as the XSR155 and the R15 do.
I also forgot to mention that brake fade is a concern if you want to take this to the track. It may not be a concern for most people but i still think its worth mentioning. Better master cylinder, wider rear tire, stiffer rear suspension, and a tune to have the more torque down low on the rev range would make it a perfect low cc bike.

That brake fade is a concern. Brakes are just as important as going fast in the track.
This might br a noob question, But are the abs not intrusive on track?

@@VelvetPancakeMedia Haven't ridden it on track yet but it is quite intrusive on the road during emergency braking, but only on the front. Engine braking is very effective, which is why i dont really shift up early so that i don't have to rely on the front brake as much. Progressive braking combined with engine braking will help to not trigger ABS prematurely.

I drove an R15M last year. Looks cool but for my height at five foot ten and weight at 95kg, the acceleration feels sluggish and brakes feel inadequate. Probably not a bike for our size. But will perform well probably with smaller and lighter riders.

Correction: there is a newer version of KTM RC200 (released in 2022 as seen on my profile picture) it is almost identical to the newer RC390. Clip on handle bars are adjustable up to 15cm lower if you want to go sporty. Driver and pillion seat is comfortable (per my back ride). As for the parts, most parts are the same with dominar 400 UG. Like brake pads, signal light relay, fork oil seal, etc.

@yanitv9861 actually, yeah. I think that's the one that i was thinkining about and kept seeing on the road. I just can't, for the life of me, find an updated pricelist anywhere. So i resorted to the next best source. But thanks for the info!
P.S. i really like tbe aesthethics of your bike. Knowing that it shares parts with mine gives me premium feels haha

The Gixxer 155 SF would probably be the most sulit of them all. Priced at 115k, Japan(or Indian?) reliability, adequate power with a claimed 50kmpl thanks to the fuel injection. Might not be the fastest but who cares? You look cool riding it

Yeah, you’re definitely right about that! It’s a great choice for a daily sports bike! Ive seen it on the road a couple of times. At first i was kind of iffy with it because od the 5 apeed transmission but it just nakes sense. It's a great choice none the less

Cbr 150R 2023 sobrang matipid, dohc 4 valve 6 speed, upright position compare sa ibang sports bike. Subok ko na yan sa grabfood delivery pang araw araw.

As far as I know, hininto na ng Suzuki ang production ng GSXR 150 at Gixxer 150 SF yung kapalit nya
Also, just my 2 cents but since you're doing a comparo/detailed review anyway, you might want to also include other stuff aside from technical performance such as kung masyadong subsob yung driving position like sa R15m, 3GP and RC200 na masyadong aggressive unlike CBR, CFMoto and Rouser na sports touring talaga.
Lastly, I think it would be better and set you apart from other vloggers kung ilalagay mo na rin yung mga pros and cons ng bawat motor since sinabi mo na rin naman na nag research ka. Dagdag points din for viewers like me if you would include your insights on why or why not you would personally get or not get the bike.

@@ajd3204 parang may nakita nga po ako na diniscontinue na yung gsxr, but since nakikita ko pa sa motortrade website and i asked kung may stock pa, meron pa daw po pero inuubos na lang daw ata. As per one of the agents.
Thanks for the tips! I did have some commentary and comparison pero sobrang humaba po yung video, i decided to keep my commentary to a minimum para di humaba pero since nabangit niyo po yon i could add it on the next ones! Ill keep in mind your suggestions! Thank you for giving the time to give tips. Really appreciate it. Godspeed!
