Hi everyone. In this video I am sharing how I use coloured pencils to shade over Crayola Supertips. This is a much requested video that I hope you will enjoy xx

You can also highlight with pencil, it really gives a lot of dimension and lets you use your darker colors without the whole page going really dark. It also allows you to do smooth blended highlights. The trick is to use an opaque white (or cream, pale yellow, etc), such as prismacolor, holbein, luminance, lightfast, derwent drawing, etc. While these are really expensive pencils they are available open stock, so you can just buy one or two light shades without too much expense.

Hi Kate Thanks for showing how to shade over super tips I have a hard time using alcohol markers because the smell gives me a headache in no time .I have been look for some other way to color I love colored pencils but its a slow medium to use
Kate thank you for this video I want this book so bad but it scares me I just don’t think I can pull it off with any kind of success.I love to here them play I so miss hearing that in my home it’s what makes a home come to life. And the giggles we all need more of.

I think I used this method on a WIP in Animorphia very recently sweetheart, but only on a few of the doodly bits. I am more than happy to film a Colour and Chat from a Kerby book using this method hun. Is there a book you'd prefer? Xx😘❤️
Kate this was super helpful! I’m finally getting out my super tips and this book and going to give it a go! I was wondering if you would use them in the larger areas at the top of the page? This was super helpful to me. I really struggle with supertips being streaky, but I am going to try your method. I also have trouble with them ghosting through double-sided pages. Do you have this issue?
Aww thank you so much my lovely. With using the Supertips on double sided pages, if it is thin paper then I think it's to be expected. However in higher quality books you should be fine as long as you don't keep going over the same area. I hope this helps xxx

I had my 70 Birthday on March 3rd. President Biden, was promising our COVID-19, relief checks. ( Ha! ha!, promises by government.). Once the Gov. approved payment, your Taxes must be accepted. Mine were accepted. But funny things can happen. I got tagged as a dependent. My dear Uncle Tax rejected my taxes for the last five years! Error, Glitch! Guesses anyone? Well! I set up on the 6th redoing four years worth of Taxes. This year was easy, all electronic the others are in the Mail. I am finishing some more this weekend. Bizarre as COVID-19! Oh, well! I am doing all free hand drawing on good card stock. All Copic Markers. I am coloring in Fantasia. I posted one on Instagram. Using Crayola Pencils. The Crayola Pencils I used on the Instagram picture, are the Colors of the World. Their Portrait Colors. They have more now.

Yeah taxed are no fun at all are they? Ooh I bet the pages you've completed are wonderful. I've heard quite a few people mention the skin tones by Crayola. I definitely need to try them.
