He most likely met My Uncle Charlie who was confined to a wheel chair. He told me how great of a live show it was and actually became friendly with the front man for whom he had the utmost respect and he really cherished the bond they made over music..I'm sorry to inform you that My uncle suddenly passed away this afternoon. So maybe if you could mention that to your Brother and tell him to pass it onto the band. His name was Charlie Quinn from Halifax Nova Scotia. He actually turned me onto this track at 1 of My lowest points and I'm here now shedding tears and enjoying the power of this amazing track.RIP Uncle Chan.
Ce solo de guitar fabuleux à 10:48, vous emporte magic magic magic, tout le groupe joue merveilleusement bien, j'aurai aimer être guitariste d'un groupe comme celui-ci longue vie à Pendragon🎉
I love Pendragon...one of the best prog bands around today, or any other day, for that matter !! What a guitar sound !!!! And solo at the end of this !!!!!
I really like Indigo and the album Pure which it is on. I only discovered Pendragon a few months ago. They've turned into one of my favorite groups along with IQ, Marillion, Arena & Pallas.
paulrichard10 Yes, so did I. I do not why and in the same way today is one of my favorites bands, I enjoy a lot this album and going to buy the rest. I can almost cry with the guitar solos.
I literally heard about 'em on Dream Theater's forum back in 2006, checked 'em out once on Limewire, forgot about 'em for 12 years and this is the first time I've even thought to listen to 'em since. Really glad I randomly picked this track. Even though I'm not one tenth the prog fan I was a decade ago, shit like this reminds me that there still is some stuff I can get into.
i always have dreams about being just a guy watching Pendragon face to face at a concert... just a guy... to jump al over the others and move my head all around while the songs are played :D
Move over Dave Gilmour... As much as I like the “Comfortably Numb” solo, I prefer Nick Barrett's here by a mile. It is super emotive, it sizzles 🔥and gives me goosebumps all the way ❤❤❤
Did you order from the Pendragon store? If you have a problem e-mail in with your order details and we'll sort it out, we don't often check YT to check for these things!
I see very pathetic types here who compensate for their lack of personality by putting musical styles in boxes to judge with their tunnel vision and narrow-mindedness as a tape measure. You don't just listen to music with your ears, it is a neurological and ethereal process that can affect the brain and your physical. Stop that stupidity. Let the music flow through your entire system, without prejudice and open all your senses. If after a while there is no click, then there is no good or bad. It just doesn't connect to your personal psyche. I am 67 years old and from 1969 a fan of sympho-prog-neoprog or whatever names the idiots don't all come up with that want to feel important over the back of musicians. I attended about 1100 concerts of all the bands from the sixties and the seventies from then up to now and I can tell you that Pendragon is absolutely fantastic. Just listen and feel. Nothing more, nothing less ....
@spiritquest35m This is a unique, excellent and original band, as are their peers Marillion and IQ. Much of the feeling against them is that they are grouped as "neo-progressive", a genre which many regard, quite incorrectly, as being clones of 70s bands. Neo-progressive bands are just symphonic prog bands who started after the 70s bands had, with a few honorable exceptions, gone commercial.
@ rogavira I agree with your summary of spiritquest35m - this is NOTHING like Pink Floyd. Mostly Autumn are also often described as Pink Floyd clones, but the songs where Floyd used Uillean pipes, violin, flute or female lead vocals (except on Great Gig in the Sky) have passed me by - and I have all their albums. If Pendragon remind me at all of any 70s band, it is Camel - and Nick Barrett acknowledges Andy Latimer as a major influence on him. Bit they're not a clone band at all.
+hectictea 24 No they were not! I know almost all of the original band (Iain Jennings, Brian Josh and Heather Findlay) personally and what you say is absolutely not true. They recorded an album of Floyd material as a tribute to a band who influenced them, but were never a tribute band in the way The Australian Pink Floyd are.
@spiritquest35m "So we can now say with a great deal of confidence this band is not very creative" You can say it - it doesn't make it right with any certainty AT ALL. "I have a 12 year old nephew that can play guitar as well as the guy doing the solo in the song" Good. I'm sure he can play the notes, but can he put the same passion and emotion into it? I recently watched John Petrucci (wo is brilliant in Dream Theater) playing a Steve Rothery solo and, whilst he hit all the notes, it was like watching an android play it. "to say this music is a pleasurable would be a lie" Maybe not to you. But to me and many others, it's extremely pleasurable.
You truly don't know anything about music... you can't compare Pink Floyd with Pendragon, Pink floyd is progressive, and Pendragon is NEO-Progressive, if don't know what NEO-Progressive is I encourage to look for it on the internet or ask someone that knows, and you saying that your nephew can play this as saying that is a bad thing well that shows that you have a lot to grow in matter of music, and you can only apreciate super-speed ugly solos that doesn't have any feeling...
Sumus, listen to pink floyd and a band called hawkwind, its obvious to me this specific band does not have the capacity to create truly original music. In other words they are just recycling old music and promoting it as original. So we can now say with a great deal of confidence this band is not very creative, and I have a 12 year old nephew that can play guitar as well as the guy doing the solo in the song. I cant blame them for trying ,however to say this music is a pleasurable would be a lie.
These are world class musicians that play compose and play great music,i saw them live doing the first part of Dream Theater concert, and they are amazing,Mike Portnoy and John Petrucci were at the stage side seing them play, and having a great time.
Great band my brother is the bass player
You should be very proud of your brother Jim....!!!!
I enjoyed watching and listening to Peter and the band on the recent Cruise to the Edge. He's an awesome musician.
Pete, Nick, Jools and Nigel and me hung out a little in the late sevs in Stroud. Pete Jeebers Gee is a great guy

I've been listening Pendragon since the 80's and I'll never get tired of it, hope to see them again in live :)
I think this band is underrated. Really love the sound and Mr Barret´s guitar is very much his own.

+MrHistorian123 But the thing is, Mostly Autumn were a Pink Floyd tribute band originally... so you have got it all wrong

+King Curry they were in the 90s
The difference from Total Recall of 1988 and this is amazing but still the core is the same.
Great band, great music. But they should have another singer.
