Just watched whole 2 season "in one breath". Thank you so much for such smart videos! It is really make mind much clearer about anyone's chances in real situations!
This season was awesome - the situations improved from last year and the cast was great too. One little thing that I’d love to have for season 3 would be a bit longer episodes, and maybe more behind the scenes. Some episodes felt rushed even though it looks like there was so much great material.
And over-edited. Do 15 s fights really need to be cut with interview footage? Just let the footage run! You can go back and slow mo important moments later and include interview snippets
Finally, a martial arts show that isn't bullshit. One thing, while it doesn't feel like your scoring is biased, there were many cases where more explanation was necessary about why someone received a score. On the bus, where Jesse avoided fights completely, he didn't get a perfect score, and I still don't understand why.
This was amazing. Congrats to Nathan for Winning the USDC, and congrats to Craig for winning the boxing match, and congrats to Jesse for getting the golden pen. Everyone else are winners to me. Can't wait for Kevin in the 3rd season.
Having finally watched the final episode, I'll drop my thoughts. 1st: thanks so much Rokas and team! This is such an event! Wonderful! The group of fighters was so great, but in Season 1, there was more opportunity to see their banter and interactions with longer episodes and extra challenges. Some of the filming of the challenges was quite heavily edited and therefore everything felt a little short and to the point. I felt that the first season covered a lot more in scope and it brought us close to the emotions of the people involved, also with a lot of teaching on self-defence mixed in. I am guessing that with having had long covid, plus breaking your leg, it must have been difficult to do the whole filming plus editing, but you still did a great job. Anyway, great job again!
You can now support season 3! Just don't click on it before watching the final episode. It has a spoiler alert 😁 www.indiegogo.com/projects/ultimate-self-defense-championship-season-3/
gonna be honest, I think he got scored a little higher than he probably should have at points and I think with the injury they might have given a little more than otherwise.
I don’t usually agree with this stance, but everyone really was a winner this season. They all went all for it and showed individual growth. Proud of each of them
Awesome, my 2 picks for the contest ended up fighting 100%. Everyone was fantastic, but hell yeah Craig! Congrats to you on your boxing win. Congrats on the win, Natan.

Amazing series absolutely entertaining loved ever second of it. If i can say one thing i dont belive ANYone would disslike 30 min episodes would be welcome! Every second of this show i am LOCKED IN, checking for easter eggs, the interviews, the narration. Every aspect is Chefs kiss perfection
When I heard Natan saying "I'm going to avoid his right hand since he can land it very hard." and Craig didn't have a game plan, I knew that Natan was going to win. Not in disrespect to Craig, it's just where fighting experience really comes into play. When you have no game plan, you usually tend to do worse because you're building it as you go while your opponent already knows how he wants to land his hits. Of course I don't think it's a bulletproof method of guessing a fight, it just really stood up for me from my experience in fighting. I love this show, can't wait until season 3 where my favorite Natan might be there to defend his self defense title.
So many people tell me amateur mma fighters would rock any untrained dude for the most part but how is this craig guy a regular dude keeping up with pro fighters ?? Fully conceived fighting is not skill

Just watched whole 2 season "in one breath". Thank you so much for such smart videos! It is really make mind much clearer about anyone's chances in real situations!
Huge thanks for everyone crowdfunding season 2! I’m so hyped for the third season, also I hope we will see a judo guy in season 3!
Shintaro Higashi would be great!
theres a kudo guy
@@jeanackle I agree 100%
MIGHTY MOUSE FOR S3 CMON ROKAS LETS GO
Too unfair 😂
Mighty mouse🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I would like to see the greatest fighter against truck driver lol
That is an amazing idea
At this rate Aspinal may be available too
This season was awesome - the situations improved from last year and the cast was great too. One little thing that I’d love to have for season 3 would be a bit longer episodes, and maybe more behind the scenes. Some episodes felt rushed even though it looks like there was so much great material.
Yeah you could easily get an hour of great entertainment out of this material. Slow-mos, analysis etc. Lots to talk about.
And over-edited. Do 15 s fights really need to be cut with interview footage? Just let the footage run! You can go back and slow mo important moments later and include interview snippets
yeah i was hoping for a zombie apocalypse event with these guys.
@@wasabi5338 I can understand why they didn't after the Ramsey Dewey incident though.
This series was a masterpiece. Craig the people's champ showing us everything is possible
Your Foley artist needs a pay raise, his/her work on all the episodes was the highlight for me.
best series on youtube.
This was amazing. Congrats to Nathan for Winning the USDC, and congrats to Craig for winning the boxing match, and congrats to Jesse for getting the golden pen. Everyone else are winners to me.
Can't wait for Kevin in the 3rd season.
True sportsmanship between those men they can hit each other in the body and head 100% and help each other up to a warm friendly hug so awesome
Imagine the ss3 teaser at the end of the video showing Master Ken
Pleas give us a season 3 LOL
this is the best series.
You can now support season 3! Just don't click on it before watching the final episode. It has a spoiler alert 😁 www.indiegogo.com/projects/ultimate-self-defense-championship-season-3/
Can we talk about how Joden didn't participate in 28.6% of the challenges and still made 3. place
Bro i saw him get hurt and then saw he was in the lead and was puzzled
Just shows how elite he and his BJJ were.
We definitely need him back
@@IoanCenturion ong
gonna be honest, I think he got scored a little higher than he probably should have at points and I think with the injury they might have given a little more than otherwise.
This series was a joy. Thank you.
Ultimate BJJ guy move, spar while injured. Jordan totally represents
Every single one of these guys were so likeable! You can only respect them all!
My boy ranton got man handled this episode😭 hate to see it but still proud of him❤
he had potential to turn the jeff chan bus fight around ngl still proud of him
I don’t usually agree with this stance, but everyone really was a winner this season. They all went all for it and showed individual growth. Proud of each of them
@@Roninfop all of em are winners, some just won harder than others
Awesome, my 2 picks for the contest ended up fighting 100%. Everyone was fantastic, but hell yeah Craig! Congrats to you on your boxing win. Congrats on the win, Natan.
Most epic series I've watched on TH-cam. The growth from the contestants especially the least experienced combat contestants. Not forgetting Jesse's take down attempts. Legendary
Congrats Natan!! 🎉
Craig you won our hearts you absolute legend. Hope to see more from you. Congrats to everyone who competed
You did an amazing job editing these episodes whilst struggling with Long Covid. An amazing series. Can't wait for S3.
Craig definitely isn't a "regular person".
He's way more dangerous than your average guy. He's Australian.
So many people tell me amateur mma fighters would rock any untrained dude for the most part but how is this craig guy a regular dude keeping up with pro fighters ?? Fully conceived fighting is not skill
From what I read apparently Craig was a bare knuckle boxer is prison so def not a regular dude
finally!!!!!!
IT's out!!!
I like how you spread this over a few weeks, builds the hype. Most youtube videos are taken for granted now days, we continually consume without a break. Good to wait for something we know is great content.
Thanks Rokas!
This is the most enjoyment I've had watching something on TH-cam in years
Last season: 10x better than netflix
This season: Also 10x better than netflix
why do you hate netflix so much
Although Craig didn't win the Championship. But he proves to us that a regular guy can survive as long as he possess a Survivor Mindset.
Not suprising.
and a two stripe bjj blackbelt and boxing experience.
come on, Craig is above a regular guy, he is just the most normal one in the cast.
16:37 got me hyped🔥🔥
Ranton wins the saying of "welcome to the ultimate self defense championship" award
Nathan vs Jeff was legendary!!
11:00 The MOST EPIC bus fight ever💥💥💥
Now this was entertainment. It's been quite some time since I've seen something so captivating and thrilling on TH-cam. Great Job.
I never knew how much I needed this in my life, thank you for making this man
15:42 jesse is hilarious 😂 someone give this man a tv show already
He has an entire Channel, and it's quality
@@soulance8342 His trip to China to discover the origins of karate is an incredible documentary
I recognized the gloves instantly
4:18 *this fight was INTENSE*
I've watched 5 times!!
loved it!!
Thank you sooo much for this series!!! It‘s the absolute best to watch as a martial artist. The contenders in both seasons were super charismatic. I had tears im my eyes during that last episode!
The fact that Jordan sat out of TWO challenges and still got 3rd is amazing.
I'm happy that Natan won. I hope Season 3 will come sooner.
Literally never been so excited for a video 🙏🏼🙏🏼👑👑
All participants will have taken so much from this, from Natan to Ranton. And all martial arts practitioners need to incorporate lessons from this show into their training, pressure testing, hard sparring, awareness, de-escalation, etc.
I just loved this series- well done to all the contestants. Enjoyed this far more than I expected.
I have the most repaect for craig and natan!! These two are just absolutly crazy! Respectful, mindful and based from what i have seen.
