I love ❤️ this channel and your banter and jokes, guests, etc. it’s just the best and I really need you guys to hurry up and crank these episodes out 😂😂 especially Shore Leave and Arena. Oh I’m gonna bust a gut laughing at you two during those. Thanks again and hurry the hell up!! 😂
This episode has to be the greatest cliffhanger in Star Trek history. And you raise a good point: the curious, almost flirtatious comment made by Miss Piper about a "mutual friend": Helen Johansson - maybe in the future women *do* still talk - even in the 23rd century: size matters. 😉
Great episode and explanations. Lots of stuff I hadn't noticed, and I've watched "The Cage" and "The Menagerie" several times. Also, that was me! I asked about Spock's limp cuz I've always noticed it. Someone in the comments was nice enough to provide the explanation.
You mean to tell me that the planet only has one shuttle craft? It doesn't have anything else with a longer range? They couldn't radio back to the planet and get someone else to pick them up? What kind of planet is this? What kind of Commodore has one measly shuttle craft to service an entire planet? Star Trek logistics were always so wonky.
You guys are doing awesome I really appreciate it I’m a big fan of the original series your doing great wish I was at the bar drinking and talking star trek with you guys
I"m truly sorry for the delay of the release of The Menagerie Part 1. It's been a crazy time at work and I will get better. - John

Thank you!
loved this episode.
The actor who played Pike in the wheelchair did hand shots for the transporter operator?
Star Trek Strange New Worlds (2022) provides a neat prequel, with Christopher Pike running the Enterprise eight years pre-Talos 4.
Yes! Love it!
the actor that played the commodore did the voiceover for the first star wars(ep4) trailer
Do you think this is him? th-cam.com/video/XHk5kCIiGoM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=t1J7CX4FkNKBIeKh
