For those thinking that there is just a lot of acting or ukemi over-reaction, you actually need to get this tried upon you. IT HURTS!! If you resist too much or hold in place, you will likely get injured, or have a cracked rib or sternum. One time I was doubting (and I know many people on the internet still doubt) karate's nukite strike. Then a buddy and I decided to try it out after practice into the solar plexus. Even a surface strike with a nukite performed by a hand that was not conditioned by being thrust into a bucket filled with pebbles hurt really, really bad.

So using this logic you could say “style does not matter, what matters is how it is used and who is using it.” This would be correct in a 1v1 fight, however in the broader perspective of actual martial arts (the art of war) this does not hold as much weight because of simple tactics like a striker repositioning against a grappler with a back step or the employ of additional forces utilizing various positions and ranges where any wrestler or jujitsu master is easily overcome with getting stomped or stabbed while he’s busy on the ground with you. This is why although not absolute, the general rule of “range” or the “I can reach you, but you cannot reach me” will always be considered an advantage. Fist will outreach the elbow and the foot outreach the fist. Or in the case of weapons knifes
This elbow attack is really useful and powerful. Its uses the same principle as how taekwondo punch, using only a small area on the knuckle. Also similar with karate. Actually its a deadly blow, a karate punch can injure a person. Thats only how many pounds of weight. This elbow blow having a very small area and the whole body weight on it can really be fatal.
Does anyone stand still to fight? The opponent only needs to turn around and hit the elbow to the right, kick the front leg, kick the groin, slash the right arm to the neck, or slash the temple.

宮平先生とヒロ渡邉先生の対談、是非実現させて頂きたいです
私は長いこと見てきた天行健中国武術館の平良さんに改めて目が行ってしまいます。
平良さんとお平良さん✨
This elbow attack is really useful and powerful. Its uses the same principle as how taekwondo punch, using only a small area on the knuckle. Also similar with karate.
Actually its a deadly blow, a karate punch can injure a person. Thats only how many pounds of weight. This elbow blow having a very small area and the whole body weight on it can really be fatal.
Does anyone stand still to fight? The opponent only needs to turn around and hit the elbow to the right, kick the front leg, kick the groin, slash the right arm to the neck, or slash the temple.
