Elizabeth Olsen joins BBC Radio 1's film critic Ali Plumb to talk about her latest performance as Wanda Maximoff, The Scarlet Witch, in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Nothing seems to be strange about Doctor strange except strang it's self.
She was FANTASTIC as Scarlet Witch in Multiverse of Madness. Stole every scene. I hope Marvel sees there is potential for a Wanda stand-alone film.
She has a whole series about her.

The movie may be titled after Strange, but this was HER movie.
She was able to perform the role of a derranged mother blinded by love and grief while being a complete psycho about it. Loved it!
Absolutely right about her performance! Though It was Strange's movie too due to his relationship with Christine being a major part.

She honestly carried the whole Multiverse of Madness movie. Such a stellar performance! She turned Dr.Strange a support/lead and America Chavez a prop. She already lead the movie as a villain, what more if it was her own movie. Seriously give this woman her own movie and an acting award already!
True, her whole performance was a great mixture between terrifying and vulnerable, it's impossible not to love her and at the same time you fear her immense power, fantastic actress!

This is why Ali is such a great interviewer. He doesn’t try to fish out spoilers and he understands the actors can’t talk about much. So, what does he do? He goes and asks random questions about what they were doing during lockdown or a different project in their past. Even though they’re supposed to be promoting their current project👏
Now, we just need Ali on Hot One’s. Could y’all imagine the interviewing showdown between Sean Evans and Ali Plumb?
Also master at saving that weird sexy moment of Lizzie pointing at her tops saying that is the design of the headband.
I found it awkward throughout, specially for making that gesture of showing the shirt bigger than it needed to be, she was comfortable enough to do it but after that response she closed off for the entire interview

Elizabeth's acting in Wandavision made that show utterly compelling. Marvel really cast their actors well. Benedict as Doctor Strange, at first was a surprise choice, but he's an incredible actor and he suits the role perfectly. They're both born to play those characters.

You guys should watch this movie. You'll see the true power of Scarlet Witch that you've never seen before. She's just too OP and that's frightening.

People are complaining at alot on wanda overshadowing doctor strange since its his movie but for me i dont think thats true both stephen and wanda catched my attention the movie isnt mainly focus about wanda i mean we get a lot of strange and christine scenes people are just too excited to talk about wanda but stephen have a decent screentime too
@@satwikbardhan3245 I agree. Personally, I still enjoyed it, but there were a lot of ehhh parts, including the CGI. T-T I think Yolana (I’m not sure that’s how you spell her name.) stole the hearts of a lot of watchers, and took away from Natasha herself.:)
Aghatha was damn right when she called Wanda "star of the show".She stole the movie and i'm not sorry about it .It was an amazing movie and nothing imperresd me more than the Scarlet Witch.She was the cherry on top for sure.

I really hope that Paul and Lizzie will get to work together again soon, considering that White Vision is still out there and Lizzie just signed a new contract for a lot of years, it is almost guaranteed that White Vision and Wanda will meet and interact with each other in the near future.
Looking forward to seeing Lizzie and Paul back together.

@@obsidious9809 there has been multiple reports that say that she has signed, but Marvel is probably keeping it a secret for another couple of months so the end of Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness feels more emotional considering what *apparently* happens to Wanda.
It will become official when Marvel reveals it, but it's highly likely that Lizzie is going to remain in the MCU, considering that her character is very important.

She is a bigger villain than Thanos in a way as she took on all of the sorcerors, the ultron bots, Shield and The illuminati virtually all by herself and beat all of them. Nearly killing Dr. Strange and Chavez also. Full on Maleficent.

As a fan of Elizabeth Olsen she really did a great job in this film! Great acting, you can see the sadness in her eyes. I actually thought this is more of Wanda/Scarlet Witch movie than Doctor Strange.
Broken soul. And I agree with you. Amazing acting. I always thought that her life is just too tragic. With such amount of power she have, she just needs to have such life. Her life meant to be villian over power but she choose to be villian to be with the one she love. Its a different path but still destructive. She just had tooo many people she loved left.

Can we talk about how good Ali is at his job though? Sometimes with interviewers they're just so awkward like even the late guy guys a lot of them feel so awkward and like they're trying too hard even when they're trying to act casual. And Ali here does a pretty damn good job of being able to just jump to unrelated topics without it being weird.

I legit LOOKED for all the negative comments I could find to reset my expectations (They were very high). This film was FANTASTIC I loved it so much, the cameos were frigging perfect, action, perfect, music perfect. Honestly one of my favorite marvel films all together

Olsen was amazing as everyone here acknowledges, but also a shout out to director Sam Raimi for bringing in horror elements to Wanda in this film, she sometimes reminded me of Carrie or the scary ghost from the Ring. It elevated Wanda
