No need to really boil them. You can get them on, yes it takes a little work. Just like chaning 1:1 tires, there are a few easy tricks to getting them off/on without too much headache or trouble, and as I noted, no need to boil them, but I can see where 5 minutes in a rolling boil could help a bit.
