- Continuing this project. Got some help while excavating and searching for electrical cables. Laying pipes and backfilling.

Jag har sett jag vet inte hur många videos på amerikanare som kör grävmaskin och de vet knappt vad en rotortilt är därborta. De skulle alla se den här videon och häpnas över hur bra det är. Snyggt jobbat! Musiken är bra också, min pojk somnar direkt 😁
You are right. Caterpillar and the Asians own the US market. Don't know if the Rotortilt is not widely available, they are overpriced or the dealers aren't interested in selling them. I will say that you would have a heck of a time finding an excavation outfit to do this work (and I live in a part of the US that is known for leaky basements). If you found one, it would cost a fortune, they would tear up everything in the vicinity of the house, the operator would collapse at least one wall, the excavation would be no where near this precise, the operator would never get out of the cab and installing the waterproofing system would be a completely separate contractor.
SO I enjoy watching because this is how it CAN be done if the operator is a craftsman, not an entitled hack. :)
Haha, jag kanske borde kryssa i ”made for kids” när jag laddar upp videos 😅 just på rotortilt fronten så tror jag engcon satsar stort på amerikanska marknaden, oklart hur det går dock.. tack för feedback!😀
Accidents wheb working so close to a house is common, when backfilling and excavating it is easy to only pay attention to the bucket and hit the roof/wall/gutters with the boom or stick. I made a dent on the gutters during a previous basement drain job . It sucks but happens. Luckily i have not made any serious damage to a house (yet).
Could it be that labor is cheap in the USA, and not many want to invest 1/4 extra on a new machine to get a rotortilt attachment? Maybe it just does not pay off?
