How to Craft a Macrame Plant Hanger Using 3 Distinct Colored Cords | Daisy Flower Pattern

In this video, I'm thrilled to introduce a brand new design: the DIY Daisy Flower Chain Macrame Plant Hanger! I'll guide you step-by-step through creating this charming plant hanger featuring adorable daisy flower chains. Perfect for adding a touch of whimsy to your indoor jungle, this beginner-friendly tutorial is sure to inspire your creativity.
Materials used:
1) 5mm macrame cord - I used 5mm Lush Giza Cotton cord: bochiknot.com/products/lush-5...
2) 1 x 2" wooden ring - bochiknot.com/products/wooden...
Size of completed project: 6" width (with pot) and 34" length
Plant pot size: 6" plant pot works well, but can be adjusted for a larger pot. I recommend a plant pot similar to this: amzn.to/43lbqDN

02:04 - Step #1 : Weave 2 x 250 cm beige cords through the ring. Then weave 1 x 450 cm pink cord on the Left and right sides. Then weave 1 x 540 cm green cord on both sides.
03:35 - Step #2 : Make a Gathering knot with a strand of 60 cm cord.
05:13 - Step #3 : Working with 6 strands of cord, take the other 2 green cords and overlap them.
Then with the pink cords, make a Half Hitch knot on both sides.
06:17 - Step #4 : Use the Pink cords for a Vertical Lark's Head knot on the Green cords on both sides.
07:13 - Step #5 : Overlap the pink cords and with the beige cords, make a Half Hitch knot on both sides.
07:58 - Step #6 : Make another vertical larks head knot on both sides.
08:52 - Step #7 : Overlap the green cords and using the pink cords, make a Half Hitch knot on both sides.

09:55 - Step #8 : Take the green cord underneath through to the side, make 4 consecutive Vertical Lark's Head knots onto the 2 anchor cords. Repeat on the other side.
13:12 - Step #9 : Repeat for another Daisy knot pattern and chain.
14:14 - Step #10 : Make 3 more Daisy Chain patterns underneath, ending the last chain with a Daisy pattern.
14:31 - Step #11 : Make the same Daisy chain pattern on the other side.
15:20 - Step #12 : Place the plant hanger posts side by side, then make a Square knot with the middle 4 cords several inches down. Repeat the same on the other side.
16:57 - Step #13 : Weave 1 x 125 cm cord through the bottom of the Daisy pattern. Then use the
Green cords as working cords for a Square knot. Make another Square knot several inches down.
18:45 - Step #14 : Repeat the same pattern on the other side.
19:03 - Step #15 : Skipping a few more inches down, make a row of Alternating Square knots all around.
20:22 - Step #16 : Use another 60 cm cord for a Gathering knot at the bottom.
20:59 - Step #17 : Trim off excess cords and the fringe at the bottom to desired length.
