It's really frustrating to get an app recommendation from an Indian, then realise the app is completely in german. This MUST be forewarned.

Honestly didn’t realize it unless you pointed out. Yes I could have mentioned that the app is completely in German, sorry for it. Generally TK customer care talks all the way in English (this is our experience since 13 yesrs) so didn’t think about it. Thanks for watching our video.

Public insurance companies Premium is based on the monthly income (solidarity principle)
Assuming your husband is the only earner in family, you and your kid is not required to get insured additionally in public insurance.
If you are earning more than 430 euros/month then you need to pay insurance premium additionally. Check out in TK directly for more details about the premium
