Hey, there is something in Your videos that prevent me of getting crazy in this world these days... I work for corpo and i just wait for Your new videos just to calm myself down and calm down. I leave all behind and relax. It is pitty, because I dont have time to have the aquarium, a lot of abroad visits and so on but I also like my job. Use to have two fish tanks plus one shrimp tank and for sure I will go back to this days... Beeing in this reminds me my best years and it is a lot of fun and satisfaction. Got few of my favorites. Thank You for doing this and keep like that! 💪💪🙏
"You need the perfect piece sometimes" is exactly what I tell my husband as I'm furiously scrolling through eBay looking at budget amethyst chunks for my aquascapes for the 3rd time in a month after I just bought a load 🤣
Please do a video with Kate scraping a tank! Would LOVE to see that 😊 Great video as always… PS. The K on the nutribase is potassium! I can’t remember what you said, but I know it makes me giggle 😂
If you want the babies to grow well and fast you have to feed them baby brine shrimp, a guppy breeder told me the huge difference it makes and I didn't believe it until I tried it! They grow 5 times faster and healthier!
MD thank you so much for giving advise and different points of view. Watching your videos and listening to your reasoning helps a lot of us come up with ideas we may not have thought of on our own.😊
Great build, MD. I think I'll do a 30cm cube for my daughter's room inspired by this! You really need to start hatching fresh baby brine shrimp. Really not a huge deal with time or cost for your studio and the benefits for all the fish are amazing. I find it greatly benefits the health and longevity of my fish room.
Feed the babies either a powder food or crush the flakes to powder 2 to 3 times a day. Also, even if it is not your style, weekly big water changes (up to 70%) help a lot with baby Guppy and Endler growth! They need more minerals in the water than other fish. I think your water might be a little too soft for them. Mine grow well and are healthy in water that is between 300 and 400 tds. I read a lot about feeding them baby brine shrimp, but mine are growing well without it. Just a mix of powder, crushed flakes, wafers, small granules and freeze dried foods. As long as you make sure there are enough small particles in the water, the babies are fine.
The filter is not set properly on the lid MD 😅 i am trying to nudge it forwards a little bit in my mind 😂 , kidding aside i was thinking about setting up exactly this size of tank for a betta
Hey mate, been a long time subscriber, love this tank . after years of watching and promising myself a tank one day i decided to get a scape 140 can you recommend an inline heater or recommend something different? thanks for all the great content so educational bur always fun and easy to watch !
Hi Md, love the channel, can u give any advise? My Java fern seems to be turning black in places?? I fertilise once a week and water change once a week, I don’t think it light as I have floating plants! It’s just starting to look ugly tho??
Md sir i hope you try to play with new plants that you havent seen or heard or make a scape with new plant varieties maybe fish also that would be epic
Im always struggling with brown algae😢 I bought a silicium kit just to test my water because in my area we have very hard water. I tried pretty much everything there is to stop diatoms but nothing worked. Less light, more light, lower intensity, higher intensity, a shitload of plants I grew myself were put in plbut after a few weeks everything goes brown and it stays brown forever😔 hopefully I can create something like this one day because it looks sick
Hi MD from Northern Ireland. Any planned trips to NI? That's such a neat looking Scape. The small scapes can equally look as striking as the larger scapes. Something like this would look great for our kitchen. Need to get the wife to agree though. 🤔
I had several females give birth in my 10 and I figured most of the babies would get eaten and I'd get one or two survivors. I feed a little bit twice a day and I guess that was enough they didn't eat the babies. Now I've got a ton of babies growing up.
He has ramshorn snails. They are pretty, useful and entertaining. People call them pests if they overfeed their tanks. I have three different types of snails and lots of shrimp in all of my tanks. Their populations balance themselves out very evenly if you feed adequately.
Another great set up, thank you. I've just ordered a Scaper Qube 15 today. I'm going to have some shrimp and a pair of fancy guppies in it. As the population, hopefully, increases, I'll take the young out and grow them on in a slightly bigger tank.
I had one of those kits sping a leak whilst I was away on a work trip :( Unfortunately I personally wont be able to trust the brand again, but I understand I'm sure I'm a 1 in a million occurance
The flakes you put in are still too big for those tiny fish. You need a powder food for these babies. Maybe that is why they are not growing up in the other tank. Or with the flakes use a mortar and pestle and grind the flakes into a powder that way.
A beautiful aquascape as always. But here in Sweden this setup is illegal. The legislation says that an aquarium for fish shouldn’t contain less than 40 liters and 2-3 liters of water per centimeter of fish.

You said it, now we need to see a dou scape with you and Kate!! 😊
I love your enthusiasm for all the fish, but especially babies. ❤️
Okay, it's time for Kate to DIRECT a build. Your muscles, her mind!

Big fan from nepal 🇳🇵I really love watching your videos ❤
Stunning tank as always.
That’s awesome. All of those babies
I was WAITING FOR THIS!
At the end of the video (with that small tank staged in front of the 8ft) all I could focus on was Chunks swimming around MD's head.
15:15 that's a very big Anubis Nana Bonzai! Mine only gets luke half that size (very small)
That is absolutely stunning.
Simple and uncomplicated yet beautiful.
Pretty. Reminds me of my home in the Pacific NW Washington State.

Your videos are amazingly, I’ve watched them all and leant so much , 5tanks now
Plant over-kill, as always! Haha! Also, cleaning algae off of this tank is going to be a massive task!
With that amount of plants, I don’t think he will have too much algae problems 😅
Beautifully done :)
Top filter hack put one on my filter and it's made a it so much better thanks MD
What a fun video. Love the baby fish.😊

Hello!
What should be the water or tank temperature?
Do you need heater for this setup?
Regards!
You should meet Paul Cufarro!
He makes a lot of salt water and beginner of fresh water scapping. 😊
He doesn't do freshwater aqua scaping. He brought a woman he met at aquashella in to scape his 2 freshwater tanks. His cichlid pond is all rock.
Well done

I like the concept, but, this is the first time i've been like "that is too much. waaay too much" when watching you plant.
Your Endlers guppy's tank is infested again by duckweed hahaha

hi. why do you mix the substrate? doesn't fill the sand the gaps (fouling?)

where is the link for the full kit?

water to soft maybe?

Gotta have a huge tank so after you place the hard scape and plants you only have 10 gallons of swim space

Kate: no, we have wood at home
😂
"just oversize it, put it in, it'll always look good"
Me on my way to get a redwood tree driftwood for my 10 gallon

MD’s always coming up with excuses for a new tank. 😂

I had one of those kits sping a leak whilst I was away on a work trip :( Unfortunately I personally wont be able to trust the brand again, but I understand I'm sure I'm a 1 in a million occurance
I think your hardscape pile will only get bigger once she start scaping.
min 5:44 "Kalum"?????? K - did you mean Potassium?
I can’t find this kit anywhere I’ve looked through the links am I being dumb?
👌🏻👌🏻

K is potassium MD 😂 , well well
Potassium is the same thing as what he said
Feed the babies Crumb a little amount 3 times a day then they survive
Hahahaha kallium. 😂 K on the periodic table is potassium.
Kallium is Potassium hence K.
❤
A beautiful aquascape as always.
But here in Sweden this setup is illegal.
The legislation says that an aquarium for fish shouldn’t contain less than 40 liters and 2-3 liters of water per centimeter of fish.
Then get shrimps
@@TheVoyagers. I’ve got four 30 liter tanks with shrimps. 😊
I have a hard time believing that this law is enforceable 😂 I’d do it anyway
@noxlion28 the law is probably intended for fish stores, and likely enforceable there.
So if you have 10 white cloud minnows, they should be in a 110 litre tank? Seems a bit excessive to me.
