HERE I AM, LESS THAN 24 HOURS POST THE SAME SURGERY. COOL TO HAVE STUMBLED UPON YOUR VIDEO.
I can speak on all of the Eagle McMahon fans, that we are very happy to see you recovering very well. We are all excited to see you back on the course with a new start to your chapter!
Hey, Eagle, you've been my daughter's favorite pro for a while, so when I told her you were having surgery, she said she would pray for you every day. She definitely has been. She's 4 and plays in the FJ6 division. We'll be praying for your continued recovery. God bless.
Eagle cant wait to see you in european open
I had a full rotator cuff repair in March of 2023 and after 12 weeks of recovery and PT I was back to playing full speed! Glad to see everything went well for you bro! Cant wait to see you bomb some MVP discs!
Very proud of you for staying so disciplined with your PT. Too few disc golfers are lifting and taking care of their bodies well. Very excited for your 2024 season!
The world isn’t ready for how epic this comeback is going to be! Can’t wait for it.
I cut up my index finger on my throwing hand pretty badly in 2023, and was unable to throw for about a month with another month before I felt back to baseline. It was tedious agony. I can only imagine what it feels like to have your whole arm out of commision, as a professional throwing athlete. Happy to hear things are starting to come close to something normal.
Eagle you have grown as a young man into a grown man. Understanding protein and not the rabbit food is going to prolong your career.
Wish the best for you this coming season.
No hater here, we love you Eagle! Looking forward to 2 Major wins this year!!!!!
I will pray that the Lord continues to bless you with a speedy recovery 🙏
Cool worldview
Yeah, the lord. Don't give any credit to the talented doctors
Eagle!
Love you🫶
Cant wait to see you on Tour🦅
Thanks for the update. Haters that post to you are weird. If I hate someone, they will never know it because I don’t waist my time and energy. It takes all kinds they say. I’m excited to see you compete this year. If you make it to smugglers notch this year I’ll be out cheering you on.
Way to go! I’m rooting for you.
Some of your videos have helped a ton with my own tournament anxiety (wim hof breathing and tourney prep)
I hope you rock it with MVP this year. I’m pumped to see how you build out your bag.
Rooting for you bro!
surgery looks scarier than i thought! i think not being able to lift my arm all the way would scare the crap out of me for awhile. heres to a better than ever recovery, you got this eagle!
Let's go bro!!!!
Awesome to see the recovery going well! Thanks for sharing the updates, we’re all excited to see you get back to it soon!!
Glad the recovery’s going well man!
Hope you have a full recovery eagle rooting for you this year
I’m glad to see the recovery is going well!!
Good luck eagle!
Happy that you're on the up and up!
glad to see the recovery going well bro
There's a wide range of recovery times between people. I had a Labrum tear and 75% detached rotator cuff. It took a year before I could throw, 1.5 year before there was absolutely no soreness and full range of motion. During that time I lost so much muscle that it took another year to get back to 100% power. January of 2020 had the operation. Only in the Fall of 2023 was I throwing further than I could before. Now I'm so thankful that I have no pain and full power again but what a freaking grind. I hope it's super quick and easy for you, I can't wait to see you on lead cards again!
Keep up the good work! Excited to watch you throw some MVP plastic. Shoulder injuries are tuff i went through a full shoulder rebuild so i feel your pain. Keep on Keeping on and we will see you back out there soon.
keep it up dude. Rooting for you.
Thank you for this style video!! I greatly enjoyed seeing the process and your discipline in staying patient.
So many memories from my similar surgery. Congrats on the recovery!
I'm so excited to see Eagle and Simon on Team MVP! Besides Ben Askren, Eagle is the reason that I started playing disc golf. Immediately after seeing him once, he became my favorite player. Just ordered an autographed card. It might be my favorite piece of sports merchandise that I own. And, that's for someone that has autographs of Troy Aikman, Deion Sanders, Drew Bledsoe, Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Jimmy Hart, Larry Bird, Nolan Ryan, Sammy Sosa, etc.
Go Eagle!!!!
I got my labrum shoulder as a boxer on Jan 10th 2024 worst way to start the new year. Right now i’m on month 2 and still haven’t recovered can’t barely use my left arm for anything but it’s slowly getting better. So far I lost about 16 lbs went from 145 to 130 in two months the lowest I’ve been since high school, can’t wait to start training again
the comeback is bigger than the setback. lfg eagle!
Damn that’s crazy. Good job
I had the same surgery about 15 years ago when i was 21. I was back with almost a lot of movement range in like 1 to 2 weeks. Its crazy. Just still be careful cause about 6 months later i did rip it back out going down a giant slip and slide into a ramp into a baby pool when my friends landed on top of me and ripped it back out. I know you're much smarter than i was ha Keep crushing it Eagle, love your content and you got this!
I had shoulder surgery for a broken clavicle and I also had a largely pain free and quick healing process, and the day of surgery is almost a let down, really not too bad. Super glad you had that experience too!
Great that you went for the surgery, it was the right choice. I really hope after you start playing, you will totally forget right hand forehand. We already saw what you could do without it in European masters. I think future of the sports will be ambidextrous throwing without massive forehands, backhands will handle those.
I appreciate the video! I'm currently in week 7 after pretty much the same surgery with similar results thus far.
I've got 280 degree labrum tears in both of my shoulders, and honestly I've been putting the surgery off because of multiple reasons. Money is one of them, and the recovery process is another. The major decision though is if it's even worth it. I'm still able to throw decently, I just have avoided anhyzer as that's where I tweak it, gotten better at flip ups to compensate. Looking forward to seeing how your recovery process goes and if the stability truly comes back for you, it'll give me hope and motivation to at least go through with it on my dominant arm.
Sauna/cold plunge, PT, and I assume a food diet/supplements (ie curcumin). You’re checking all the boxes. Hope to see you ripping soon
Labrum tear with severe pain and a cyst.... got a shot today but speaking with my surgeon on tuesday to discuss options, if needed surgery, i'm getting it done ASAP, this pain is too much.
Reminds me of my back surgery lol..crazy experience right? Ditched the narcotics day2 and went right for cannabis! I'm 1 year out now! Best of luck to you!
I love the chopper plushie in the back of 7:22!
I can't wait to see some kendama grinding on this channel one day!
F the haters. Just do you!
I had the same oparation. Arthroscopy Bros ❤
Pulling for you mate!! Prove the haters wrong 😤

Commenting for the algorithm 😊

Natural remedies... MJ?
I bet eagle got them good pain meds 🎉 time
As the president of the Eagle hater's club...even I was glad the healing was going well.
Hope to see you killing the game again
Heal fast
just found out today that i’m getting the same surgery 😟
“Cleared to drive” - I think more accurately “Cleared to operate a steering wheel” as most of us want to see you drive drive, like throw the disc far 😋
We all know what natural remedies you get in Boulder
“How I became an opioid addict”
Is "natural medicine" weed?
Shirt on after 4 days? I milked the ability to be shirtless as long as possible.
Does Eagle have a mother or was he born out of midi-chlorians?
She passed away when he was a kid (8/9)
