- During an online forum hosted by The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate has set out unveiled the findings of the biggest ever UK study on the early years.
The research, commissioned by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge includes the findings of the 5 Big Questions survey which attracted over half a million responses earlier this year, making it the biggest ever survey of its kind.

There are two kinds of Monarchy
Absolute Monarchy and a Constitutional Monarchy
we used to be an Absolute Monarchy and the Monarch does RULE
Henry VIII is a great example,
Saudi Arabia have an Absolute Monarchy and the King is the head of their government and his relatives are government members
we are Constitutional Monarchy now, so the Monarch only reigns, they don't rule
its a ceremonial role

Kate is very respected in my eyes if she can change the views of the importance of early years. She is a great advocate. I think the early years educators are the most important part of a child’s start in their first chapter in education and what they learn in preschool is vital. If I child can’t role play and use their imagination in a deconstruction area then they will struggle to write a story if they don’t learn to retell a story or sequence one then they could struggle to do maths. Yet early years teams are poorly paid and not valued the same as teachers. I’m passionate about my job as an early year partitioner and feel very under valued. People think we just sit and play all day. This is far from true. Every activity we set up has a purpose from a child’s interest to their next steps. And we have to combine that with early years goals. I love my job and every day is a special day looking at how a child has developed. The excitement of learning something new

@Tim Daugherty So far queen Liz is still alive at 95 yrs. old. After she 'expires', Charles will be the next king and camilla will be queen consort. That could be another 20+yrs. before/if ever, William becomes a king. Kate will never be queen consort. The monarchy will be abolished by that time.

How terribly sad that you don’t seem to appreciate what an asset this woman is to her family and country. It is work and not easy work to be judged every public moment by what you say or do, or how you look when you are getting involved in worthy causes. It’s call duty and is sorely lacking in so many places in the world. Shouldering responsibilities of husband, children, and representing The Queen may seem trite to some but to many people she is a woman coming into her own and leading by example. Her country is lucky to have a woman of this caliber working hard to help children have a better future.

This has been tried & tested by people who have PHD. and have failed. Children also need basi. Needs food, clothing, shelter, heating a good education and patents that do not have to work 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet so they do not have time to spend with their children in their early stages of life.

She is usually styled as "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge". When in Scotland, she is known as the Countess of Strathearn. At 71 , I have seen so many changes since I was a young mother , that now impacts on the well being of young families and small children , I hope my generation will be called upon for our insights and knowledge. I send grateful thanks to Duchess Kate for her hard work and dedication to all children and especially the under fives .
It is important to note that everyone's experience is different. Our family loved the lockdowns; we spent precious time together as did the Queen and Prince Philip. The pandemic was a lovely experience for us and I would go as far as to say that another lockdown would not bother us in the least :). Do not forget that you are never alone when you are with your family. On another note studying with the Open University gave me many skills which came useful during the lockdowns; and I would therefore recommend the Open University to anyone wishing to brush up on their resourcefulness skills. We have what it takes in us to be happy and cope with the lockdowns you just need to tap into those inner skills. Living with gratitude and being aware of our true self worth is extremely helpful in achieving this.

Hello. Am currently taking care of my 3 kids at home. Please , I need kind words for me to keep going !
What you give your children by being present in their lives, and we know it's exhausting, is truly the greatest gift you can ever give! I quit practicing law to raise my child, and I have never looked back. Cheap craft supplies (start withempty containers at home) to keep them busy and limiting computer and TV time helps. If they need more computer time, download software that teaches them to type! It's so handy when doing resumes or papers later.
