My man, you are one blessed dude. Wonderful wife and kid, nice deals on some scooters. I can tell you after being married for 30 yrs. hang on to the one who stands with you.
When I was 16 back in 89 I bought a 81 CB750 Custom for $1,800. LOVED it! Traded it for a Motor Home in 99 and got $2,500 for it. I am now 50 and bought another one 2yrs ago for $2,200 and was scammed. The owner was a Dirt Bike Racer and treated it like one. It needed Work. He got it running just enough to show it was "Still Rideable"... Yeah Right. Rode it four times before it shit out on me. Just got it back out of the Shop for Two years, 2 weeks ago... $5,000 Later and NOW it Runs! Still need some Minor Work but Now Is Rideable. Has the Back Rest and Luggage Rack. Even Came with a Color Matching Front End to make it look like a Goldwing.. but would have to get taller handle bars for it to fit... They are GREAT Bikes but Assholes are turning them into "Cafe Racers".. Mine is Blue and Not going to Sell or Trade it in this time... Peace Brother! Side Note: When he started it up for you. They Love to use the Choke to Get started but then Love to turn Release the Choke and Be Revved Up and just get going on those Cooler Days.. Hot Days, Even after sitting awhile, they Fire Right Up, No Choke Needed. ... I Lived in Minnesota with my First one. Let it sit all Winter long, First nice day of Spring, Put the Battery back in, Choke, Fired Right Up, Revved and Released the Choke.. Purred like a Cat...
Thanks for all the information I'll definitely keep this in mind sorry to hear about you being scammed happy you were able to get the bike fixed ride safe 🏁
CB750 last of the classic shape...on the verge of becoming a Nighthawk for $400. I wouldn't even ask if it runs. I'd check compression and load it up. You did right. Pay his price. More than fair
that's because the other TH-camrs somehow think they are above everyone else you all take the time to watch the videos so I take the time to respond. appreciate the support
$400. Thats sick, man. What a great buy! Beautiful! Love the seat and the painted engine covers. I plan to do the same thing to an 81F I hope to buy later this month. Congratulations and happy riding!
Dude what! No way I love the classic series omg! It’s so cool to see them on the road In todays age. I paid $500 for my 1975 for my cb200 needed work but she runs like a dream now! Has the cafe bare metal look. But dude $400 for a cb750 sheesh u came up. Trade me 🤣
Let me help you out, don’t run those pod filters, they don’t flow for crap and make your carbs hard to jet and generally unhappy. Just run the stock air box and a K+N or whatever. I hope you went through and rebuilt the carbs and got them synchronized. And the bike addiction thing ? I had 26 at one time and still have 12 🐾✌️🇺🇸
@@2wheelfamily493 cool it’s the truth. My first was a 76’ CB400SS 4 into 1 and 6 speed stock. Loved that little bike, got my license on it and it was a breeze. I started in the dirt though at 7 in 73’, honestly everybody should learn on a dirt bike, that way it becomes reflex rather than a thought process. If you love street bikes you’ll definitely love dirt bikes especially enduro’s with lights and speedo’s. Good luck and be safe 🐾✌️🇺🇸 PS my first dirt bike was a Hodaka/Bonanza 1500, it was a mini-bike with suspension and a 100cc 5 speed Ace 100 Hodaka motor and it was dangerous to adults lol
I don't know how you do it that is a awesome bike your knowledge is gold always a like and I always wanted a kz1000 but there kinda rare in good shape o well god bless 👍✌️
Dude, it's not fair!!! You keep stealing all these bikes! Get that beauty in perfect shape, I'll bet you could get $2000 AT LEAST!!! I had a 79 Kand a 77F (?). I swear the SOHC F spun up faster than the K! Those bikes are bulletproof and will run forever, if you take care of them. I thought my 79 K had dual disks, but it was 30+ yrs ago, and 5 or 6 bikes ago... The best for you and your fabulous family!!❤️
The addiction is real, I have seven old Hondas and two more on the way, can't stop looking on market place at bikes. I had a 76 cb750 one owner with 12k on it, like a dummy I sold it, never again, never selling my 81 cb 750 custom, my 78 cb 550 . . . LOL !
I'd have bitten his arm off for 400 bucks. 750 four was my first big bike back in the 80s. Hope you know how to balance carbs because I'd bet that bike needs it. They all did/do.
Lovin your channel , so up lifting , can I recommend you have a look at the kawasaki z900rs modern / retro .weather just coming good in u k for riding.
