Rise, and Make Them Remember

We're coming out of 2020, and entering into 2021. Last year was a nightmare and a half, so I had been trying to come up with a good way to enter this next one, at the very least on a more upbeat and positive note than we were left with.
I had actually planned on starting with something else, but as I was scrolling through what I had on hand, I found myself listening to this song and thinking...you know, this is actually a pretty good note to begin on, after surviving the nightmares of last year. We've still got messes to clean and garbage to dig through, but for having gotten through that beginning... I dunno, I've come to the realization that I am actually stronger than I thought I was.
That and, heck, Gray really is one of my favorites to write for or mess around with, and his 'voice' and presence for this seems fairly appropriate, so using him was one of those moments it was just honestly RIGHT.
Putting it all together was an effort and a half, but I'm happy with how it's turned out. Totally worth it ^-^
I hope that the song helps rekindle both your fighting spirit and fire. We've had a heck of a time, but we're still here, and we've still got it. You are strong, you are special, and you are loved. We're going to make it.
