Amy, you’re an angel. Thank you so much for feeding, housing, caring, and loving the squirrels. Ignore inconsiderate mean people who are ignorant. I have a registered certified humane backyard and I care and feed squirrels, raccoons, opossum, rabbits,blue jays, cardinals, cats, and so many other birds. Animals need our help and I will be there for them every day. Unfortunately, I have neighbors that don’t like me nor the squirrels. One neighbor demanded that I bring down my birds feeders. He’s gone as far as trapping the squirrels. Everyday he’ll set several traps along my fence right along the property line. To avoid these neighbors I’ve built a tall fence to avoid their nastiness and I don’t have to see them. Keep on squirreling. You’re love Amy by many and especially by me. Haters will be hater it’s sad that they have to fill some void in their lives. I’ve had a large St Frances statue on my backyard for about 6 years and the hypocrites placed one just like it on their lawn last year.

Yes! It’s the same psycho neighbor that copied my Saint Francis. Odd indeed! Narcissistic personality maybe. He came over to my front door and “Demanded “ I took down my bird feeder when in fact he has some up in his property I think he does it purposely to lure the squirrels. The fence has helped for the purpose of not see him when times he sits in his four season room directly facing my property.
😂😂 my neighbor calls me the squirrel whisperer everybody around here knows I have a baby squirrel😊.. if an animal comes to me and I'm taking care of it that's a pet I don't really care what kind of animal it is as long as it's clean and disease-free, I always tell people I may be poor but I feel like Cinderella over here with all of the wild animals 😂😂
Surprising that your crew was willing to take a chance on you. My BIL was one of those who ran out the back door clapping his hands to shoo the squirrels off his bird feeders. Then Navvy came along and my niece wanted to interact with her and all my squirrels, and I guess also to make friends with their squirrels. I need to ask her if she ever got anywhere with that.

I was rolling on the floor about the who just wakes up one day to say i think I'm going to just start chucking money out the window. 😂😂😂😂 I never thought i would be spending this much on them but it only started off with one. They they tell friends about the cool new dive and then they tell some more friends and pretty soon 1 turns into 30.😂😂😂 You nailed it when you said they are thinking beings that are smart enough to manipulate us into seeing how cute they are. Puting paws on the window looking in. They are smart enough to get your attention and they in turn are hoping that we are smart enough to pick up on this nonverbal cue to make friends with them. They know how to manipulate us if only we look for the cues. So true what you said about them showing up so we can help them when they are in need too. I feel so helpless, especially because we can't get medicine for them as we have to go through a veterinarian per state law and yet if you take them to a vet they will only put them down. Our laws need to change. People have no empathy for a squirrel, only dogs and cat. Narrow minded and shallow people.

I have no idea how that juvenile cat showed up on my porch but i kind of freaked out when i saw it sitting next to a few squirrels on the porch. I'm not really into cats and squirrels are #1 in my life so i definitely felt threatened by his presence. Now he is getting within a few feet of me and comes when i call him. He needs a warm home and i hope i can befriend him to make tgat happen. I'm am so greatful that he respects my squirrel boundaries and gets turkey every day for being good. Of course the opossums get fed as well but these guys are showing up early A.M when i am in bed. I miss watching them and peting them in the garage. 2 years is way too short to live.😢 I guess i should open an animal shelter and definitely would if i lived in the country and had the $ to do so.💔

He is so well behaved that the squirrels actually trust him. I'm going to try and get video of it if i can. The other bigger cat that must be the mom or dad is a different story. The squirrels send out the predator alarm and hide in the trees when he comes around. Like you said yesterday, they are thinking beings and they know which one is a threat and which one they can trust. How do they know this??? Smart little cookies 🍪 😅😅😅
One reason people don't understand this relationship is that they do not realize that squirrels are very intelligent animals. They are not motivated just by food and nothing else. They LEARN human language so that they can understand OUR warning calls and beckons.

I drive by, slow down and gawk, but am too afraid of the “crazy” (squirrel hating) people who live there to yell, “Hey, Sweet Tank!” out the window at her to see if she responds, afraid I’ll put her under the radar of the haters. So I have no verification that it’s her, but I’m hopeful. As winter wears on and fall nuts run low, I’m expecting to see the Tanks show back up. That’s all I’ve got for now. Thanks for asking. hello amy ❤🐿❤ first of all - not in a flirty way or anything like that - but you looked real pretty today ^^ second, i fully agree with the whole talk about "squirrel people". whenever i started to go out to feed squirrels (on weekends and in my freetime) even my friends didnt get it at first, they thought im slowly drifting into weirdness bevause i go and feed squirrels which are wild animals. theyd ask me- why would you feed them, they get enough food on their own yada yada. and its true, they do find enough on their own where im from. but what people dont get about squirrels (at least to me) is that it is so rewarding if such a small wild animal that has to be cautious 24/7 puts their trust into your hands quite literally. whenever their little hands and fingers touch mine, whenever they sit and eat right next to me, or if that one squirrel comes right away when i do my lil squirrel whistle. it warms my heart i actually view them as my friends, i give them funny names and i get actually excited when i see one of the named squirrels and it recognizes me and comes running. and im not 50 or retired, or have no friends or hobbies either 😅 its true i dont have "many" friends, but really really good one. i draw, manga i workout, i cook, i read, i do sports with friends and im sometimes even out at weekends. BUT I STILL WANT TO GO FEED SQUIRRELS ON TOP OF THAT!!! ❤🐿❤ just keep on squirreling

I know for a fact most animals are more intelligent than they're given credit for. I freely admit it I have nearly no friends here in Canada(the most friendly/polite place on Earth LMAO). I was a touring musician too for 4 years in Canada late 80's(in a band of narcissist Vipers lol). I love animals no matter what. Squirrels have personalities and you see it after months of feeding and talking to them. Still my family hate all wildlife only liking dogs and cats wtf ?I could care less what ppl think of me but I get along with strangers better than my family lol. Good comments Amy. I'm sorry if I sound negative, our singer a talented lad sabotaged everything I or our Management tried to do a losing battle it was. We started recording an album and he ruined that so all remains is a demo tape. Our Manager in Spain fell out with us so kept most all our concert pics. Sadly I have only club pics. I should write a book "How NOT To Tour A Band!. We were called 'Ter Horus' but changed our name to 'Prezident Stone' for a short reunion in 1990 then I left. @Littleanimalsarecute We didn't score a record deal but were SO close. Even hear of Lee Aaron? We opened for her band lol. We played in Spain what a disaster. I'm sorry if I sound negative, our singer a talented lad sabotaged everything I or our Management tried to do a losing battle it was. We started recording an album and he ruined that so all remains is a demo tape. Our Manager in Spain fell out with us so kept most all our concert pics. Sadly I have only club pics. I should write a book "How NOT To Tour A Band!. We were called 'Ter Horus' but changed our name to 'Prezident Stone' for a short reunion in 1990 then I left. I record my own music now don't need a band I have another channel on here on YT.
@@Littleanimalsarecute I kept thinking it was something to do with a procedure a few years back...my family act so hostile and explode much of the time over these little mostly harmless creatures that bring me much joy.
Probably better that they went out of vogue as a pet, but they were right up there with cats and dogs for a hundred years. I am totally against legislating whether someone can have a pet squirrel. I would prefer people to figure out on their own whether a pet squirrel is right for them.

I can’t believe our country who says it’s founded on freedom has legislation on something so crazy as what pets someone can keep in their own house. Blows my mind. Oh, and also legislates that a person can’t hurt a hawk if it’s attacking their daughter, on their own property. Just wow.
@Littleanimalsarecute I'm sure there are all kinds of "reasons" aimed at protecting them from a bad situation, but that can also happen to a cat or dog, and there is no such intrusion on people's rights to have them.
