Can a JCB 3CX lift and move a 20ft shipping container?

I needed to unload some shipping containers and couldn’t find any information online if this was possible, so for anyone that is wondering if they will do it, here you are. The only problem is, the slightest variation in ground high under the back wheels can cause the digger to fall over, so you Need to counteract this as you drive with the back actor :)

My goodness, that is impressive stuff! I would have thought it would have bent the forks tbh! They are great machines! I saw a 3cx driver once drive along a trench he'd just dug to demonstrate how stable they are, so he had the two right wheels in the trench,and the two left wheels onto of the spoil he'd dug out. The 3cx was at such an angel, that it should have tipped over on its side but it didn't! I couldn't believe it! They must have a very low center of gravity!

Oh my God! What potential to lift a container! And it has individual blades in the collector part embedded in the blade itself. To put it in a zapping program on TV.

Back in the late 80s I used to use a 3c mk2 to unload 4cubic meters of timber from Arctics we had to put blocks under the front axle put slings under the packs of timber take up the slack with the main arms then crude the bucket back to lift the drive the truck out think that was heavier than container but you couldn't drive with it as the front axle was blocked because the front tyres would have been completely flat

Yes sounds heavy, the container is only 2200kg but the centre of the weight is 4ft out from the bucket so it makes it seem a lot heavier when trying to lift it
