  • I am on location at Integrity RV at 2323 E Main in Mesa, AZ today working on a customer's 2007 Dynasty. It could be a 05 or 06 or 08, I don't remember right now.
He said the satellite dish stopped working. It would turn on and start to scan but then give a "No LNB Power" code on the control box and then store itself.
Not having luck with Winegard calling me back and after scouring IRV2 and other forums, I decided to just take a look at the connections first.
    Thanks!

Wish you were around when I was trying to wire up my cooler thermostat! Always fun to watch someone who knows what they are doing.

Thank you...but trust me it was more fun to watch you easily design and make insulated curtains. I was in awe of your brilliance!

@@AZExpert , Thanks - and so good to hear that you saw my video. At the beginning you always wonder if anyone is seeing the videos beyond ones own circle!

I do satellite installs/repairs. Those 3 connections at the turret should have had rubber grommets installed to prevent this from happening.

Also, I would have removed one of the terminators and used the 2nd or 3rd output to connect the new cable to.

Have u had one that would ride on roof search for service. Then raise up and spin around and then back down on the roof and try to drag it in a circle tell it catches something then go back to fold

I know this is a few years ago. I putting one in soon. I think besides the grease, I wrap the connector in some butyl rubber tape.

most high quality connectors should be weatherproof especially the coax which comes with the dish. but yeah, more could hurt

@@AZExpert What would be a good sealant to put under the turret? I was thinking butyl caulk. I am getting nervous about drilling a bunch of holes in my metal roof. Got the dielectric grease. Thanks

I would power cycle the controller and see if you can "stow it. IF not there is a black cap on the front of the turret that unscrews revealing the elevationdrive that you can crank manually to store it down. You can carefully twist the base to store it rearward if necessary. Make sure the controller cable is unplugged when you do this
