never thought id see you do a video on Avicii, but really glad you did, super heart warming vid. also, i don't think we'll forget about him. to me, he'll always be one of the main dudes that brought EDM to the USA and one of the first to really have superstar level commercial success in the mainstream. and so i expect that we'll look back in 50 years and continue to celebrate Avicii's legacy and and thank him for his contributions to what EDM has become. definitely on the mount rushmore of EDM. (not sure who else I would put on my mount rushmore, but probably Skrillex and Daft Punk at least)
My little sister keep singing and playing Waiting for Love for the 500th times and it made me think more about Tim and what would have happened if he didn't passed away. And also Wake Me Up was my personal favorite since it's the first song that I've discovered from him.
I was grown in musical family with me playing alto sax. I had great love to detail in backgroud of any music that was rooted in me by my piano master father. he always pumped jazz music in my hard and I a hard time in recongnizing good music in other music types. first I heard Avici, I classed him as some low sort 1.3 clapper that i should not loos my time with.. boy was i wrong. I love 80% of his songs due to complecity and life on entire song. and I was very sad when I got to know that he took his life. ther is too many great ones that we lost...
I don't understand "Seek Bromance", because it's a slang term for hetero guys to be weird with friends, but gay guys don't use that term for themselves, right? I've never heard it used like that, maybe i don't hang out with enough gay people. I KNOW i don't hang out with enough gay people. They would understand my obsession with house music.
I'm not sure why he named it that either, and the music video doesn't seem to be related to the title. I do remember the term "bromance" being used alot more prominently back in the 2000s than it is nowadays. Could be just a product of the language used at the time. But regardless, it's still my favourite Avicii/Tim Berg song
It's sounds like a quirky joke song. It's the early 2000s after all, they don't talk about pronounces and sexuality at that time compare to now. So that name doesn't even matter lol.
