Wonderful informative video, and you've also got the amazing Stenshuvud National park in the south as well as Norra Kvill National Park as well as Tiveden.

Remember the #1 hike in Sweden - The Via Suecia Trail. It goes through the whole country from North to South or vice versa. Enjoy your hike!

At 4 you could have also mentioned the Höga Kustenleden or High Coast trail, that goes through the Skuleskoge national park.

I Think Tiveden on Bergslagsleden is unique, it has original Woods untouched for hundreds of years, and stunning turquiose lakes.

I don’t know if I think Roslagsleden places on a top 10. But it’s one of the most accessible hikes and most of its eleven day trips are both children friendly and beautiful (in the summer at least). And I think all of its day trips starts and stops near public transportation.

And also Sörmansleden south of Stockholm. You can usually plan the route so that you can take a train or bus to the beginning of the trail and from your final destination. I have walked the trail in the 80s but then "only" for three days. There are shelters where you can spend the night. We had tents and sleeping bags and were able to find nice places to camp.

Make sure to be informed about the mosquito situeation where/when you go. It can be a nightmare.

@@HikingHikers If you stay on high altitude where it´s windy I think you´ll be alright. But if you go down a valley where it´s wet -beware! Best is to contact a tourist station. I would think that the more popular trails are chosen where there´s not a lot of mosquitos. But don´t take my word for it. I once entered a forest in the middle of Sweden and it was hell. I entered 10 meters and then I had to run out. The mosquitos (myggen) are so vicious!
