Thank you so much... so beautiful. We are 63 and retiring in June. In 2024 we are travelling for three months in Norway, Sweden and Finland. I wasn't sure about staying in Abisko as it is a busy place and I am autistic but your video was so beautiful and just the sort of thing we love so you have helped me to decide to spend more time in Abisko. We have subscribed to your channel.
Breathtakingly beautiful place...! And you captured that beauty, the loneliness, the majesty of the landscape so perfectly... Thanks for making this video and sharing it!
I was blessed to work there as a Geoscientist - .... it feels as if it was in a different life.... and on a different planet.... in fact, it was, I reckon
Beautiful! I will never forget the view you get when walking from Kaskasavagge towards Vistasvagge (5:50). Absolutely breathtaking. I was there late August 2019. Thanks for sharing!
Wow! Amazing views and colors! Love the "feeling" in the movie.. this is what I long for! Hopefully will go there next week.. Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you for sharing. Great filming and hiking. Amazing, stunning, absolutely everything i love about nature, mountains. Those autumn colours are incredibly beautiful. I have found the perfect present for my 50th birthday. If only i could have the same weather ;)
Thank you! Beautiful views. I also hike alone, mainly in the north of Russia. Unfortunatelly I dont have enough vacation time to cover in addition to the summer also the autumn. Good luck to you in your trips and videos!
Such beautiful colours and captured so well! You look like you were lucky with the weather on the hike. I have done it at midsummer but want to visit again in other seasons.
I really enjoyed this video. Hiked in this area in August and would like to do a longer trek later in the season. Hopefully, COVID restrictions are much less of an issue by this time next year and I will be able to get back there!
Stunning colours! Really beautifully video and photos. So good to see, as I’ve skied those areas. Love those cliffs above Vistavegge. So majestic like ship prows. I really want to do that walk this year. Hoping to be able to ski there in March if Covid allows.
The views were so breathtakingly beautiful that they got to me. This video made me tear up. I'll subscribe without a doubt. I hope you have a good day. :')
this is so Envious! imagine seeing these amazing landscapes as long as you like and FREE! MOSTLY no coronavirus!! its so breathtaking !! thanks for sharing. LOve the video
Quite wonderful! Great pictures and videos. This area is really a dream in autumn. We definitely have to go there. We only know the Arctic Circle from our numerous winter visits. One more question: What is the name of the music that starts at 2:18? Best regards, Berni & Sabine
I'm thinking to go for a 2 week hiking trip by myself. What are some things I need to keep in mind? I was thinking if only northern Sweden or combine with northern Norway
OMG, AMAZING video, congrats! Will be doing the trek from Nikkaluokta to Abisko during Fjallraven Classic Sweden. In September it seems to be so calm and empty, I'm little afraid about how it'd look like in August. Can't wait to see those landscapes though!
September is nice up there with autumn colors and northern lights if you're lucky. It's definitely less crowded time of the year on the trails. I'm going there week before and week during Fjällräven classic this year but I hope to avoid the crowds by taking different trails.
Amazing. Thank U for the great video. I really want to do the trail like U. Pls tell me the exact time of your starting time of the trail. I am going to do it this year. Many thanks from Korea.Have a nice day!
One of my favorite videos. I trekked from Kilpisjärvi to Kvikkjok last year, loved it. Although this isn't far from the Kungsleden it seems it's worthwhile to come back for. Was the route from Tarfala to where you hooked back to the Kungsleden technical or exposed? Is trail marked adequately. Could you provide tracks? Also after Abisko did you walk to all those locations, was it all on foot? Thx so much.
That's entirely possible that we were on the same bus to Nikkaluokta. I've never hiked the southern part of the trail to Vakkotavare, but I bet it was also really nice in the autumn colors we had this year!
Hi! I'm planning to travel to Abisko, and I was wondering if it's possible to watch the Aurora and the autumn colours at the beginning of September (around 7th, Sept.), or is it too soon? Thanks!
Thank you, Ralph! I was there second and third week of September 2020 (I started hiking from Nikkaluokta on the 6th of September). I filmed mostly with Nikon D850, iPhone 11 Pro and DJI Osmo Pocket.
Wow, that looks like such a great trip. Your video is inspiring me to go this September (if Covid doesn't ruin my plans). But I wanted to know, how many days of food did you carry ? Did you start with two weeks of food in your backpack ? Or manage to pick up some supplies along the way ?
I had food for 10 days because I wasn't sure which way I wanted to go from Vistas, but if you hike along the cabins you can usually buy some food and supplies there. If you check the STF website: www.svenskaturistforeningen.se you can see which cabin has a small shop and possibility to get some supplies.
@@StepanKuklik Ah great ! That's really kind of you to share that information. And wow, 10 days food+ camera equiipment is a LOT to carry! Sacrifices we make to get the shot ! I'm planning to take 70-200 2.8, 16-35 2.8 + tripod + some small primes..... It quickly adds up.
I did the main hike second week of September 2020 starting 6.9. 2020 and it took me 1 week. Rest of the video are day trips around Abisko directly after that.
@@StepanKuklik great, thank you so much,I prefer the Autumn view than the summer view, but I don't want to be too cold there. So I will also plan my hiking in September.
Svenska Fjäll är magiska. Fridfullt och vackert. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Oh Bee Theo i really did that same trail as you guys. And i just found out of it. But go home for Bee she needs her family right now. 😍❤️
Amazing video! Which is the beste period to see autumn?
fall!😊
Would be nice to show a map to give us an idea of where in the country the video was made. Good work though.
Nice place 👍
3:34 you should have went in there down to those cabins and showed some photos from that angle too !
I started hiking same day as you. I saw you on my bus. I was hiking to vakkotavare...

Gorgeous area!
Hi do you have a screen shot of route you took on this one please

Did you walk tarfala-kaskavagge-vistas? How was it between tarfala and kaskavagge in September? Lot of snow? Hard to navigate?
Supernice!
Love your videos.
Thank you for such an inspiring video, Stepan! I am planning to go there in August, how was unmarked way from Tarfala? Was it easy to find?

I only have one question, what month is it so beautiful?
First half of September.
Wonderful Movie! When were you there and which camera did you film with? Thanks and hello from Switzerland! Ralph
