Sorry for such a late comment. I had to watch it again because I enjoyed it so much. I could relate so much about the way Sifu Rudy's felt toward Sigung Richard Bustillo. He truly was not only a wonderful instructor, but also a wonderful person. He always gave so much of his time to everyone at the end of a seminar by making sure everyone had photos taken with him. He had a unique way of explaining everything so simply so it became clear. Just the same as Sifu Eric. Love the story of the guy backing out after seeing him warm up. "The art of fighting without fighting." Really interesting show and you guys were only standing in front of a wall.🙏🏻🐉

Hi Charles,Rudy! An amazing journey he's taken with all the existing Sufu's that were originally Bruce lee's students. To meet Ted Wongs wife and realizing they were cousins,how cool was that! Over 45 years training, 30 years teaching! All over a Bruce Lee poster given to him in the early 70's by his cousin who taught Gogu Ryu karate at that time. The amazing impact Bruce Lee had on so many people,so many stories. You've probably haven't met 1/4 percent of the people that must have accomplished martial arts because of Bruce Lee. Yet your journey is amazing as well Charles, look at all the videos you've done so far through people you've met,because of your wonderful channel. Always great to see and hear these stories through you, Hector and all the people you've met, and continue to meet. What an incredible interesting guest it reminds me of how I started at 12 years old about 71 with judo. I wonder how many of us started in judo, I remember coming back from seeing return of the dragon for the first time going to my sensei and saying I want to learn what Bruce Lee does. My sensei was the 7thdegree black belt studied from the Budokan in Japan. He said Bruce had beautiful philosophy, then became then began my path to JKD.

Been training and Wing Chun Kung Fu, JKD and weight training and bodybuilding since I’ve been 13 years old, trying to remain youthful and slowing down the aging process. I guess it’s working and it was all inspired by Bruce Lee as you said. Now I weight trained about five days a week and rest on the weekends. Hope you’re doing well, my friend. Really heartfelt sentiments Thi. I had high moral standards and good manners instilled in me throughout my childhood. As an adult they proved an invaluable asset when I often encountered difficulties and could always rely on them when other people did not have the same standards as me.

As I understood the deeper principles of JKD, over the years I was able to apply those as well. Most people only think of them in terms of fighting, but in fact they go way deeper. Although the trapping did prove adventurous during my job in social care. Just as the highest notes can not be heard. So the greatest use of our abilities can not be seen.🙏🏻

Jeffrey thanks brother. Appreciate the kind words. Been training and Wing Chun Kung Fu, JKD and weight training and bodybuilding since I’ve been 13 years old, trying to remain youthful and slowing down the aging process. I guess it’s working and it was all inspired by Bruce Lee as you said. Now I weight trained about five days a week and rest on the weekends. Hope you’re doing well, my friend. It is important to be a good person. But it is so good to be an important person. Bruce Lee shined as a most important person as well a very good person. He was never seemed to be haughty. He gave respect to one and all. Let us adapt, adopt and adorn Bruce Lee's best qualities in our life.
Really heartfelt sentiments Thi. I had high moral standards and good manners instilled in me throughout my childhood. As an adult they proved an invaluable asset when I often encountered difficulties and could always rely on them when other people did not have the same standards as me.

As I understood the deeper principles of JKD, over the years I was able to apply those as well. Most people only think of them in terms of fighting, but in fact they go way deeper. Although the trapping did prove adventurous during my job in social care. Just as the highest notes can not be heard. So the greatest use of our abilities can not be seen.🙏🏻
