Plock, Poland, November 27, 2018 - Cucine Lube Civitanova came back from 10-14 down in the tie-break to send defending champions Zenit Kazan crashing out of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship with an amazing 3-2 (20-25, 25-22, 24-26, 25-23, 19-17) win that tonight resounds around the volleyball world.
Powered by 20 points from Tsevtan Sokolov and another 18 by Robertlandy Simon, Lube got their revenge over Kazan in this rematch of last year's final which they had lost in straight sets.
What was looking to be an anticlimactic ending to the seesaw match, when Kazan reached match point with five to spare at 10-14 in the fifth, turned out to keep fans on the edge of their seats as Lube clawed their way back and Kazan produced error after error. The Italian side cancelled the first four match points and then another two at 14-15 and 16-17 before they brought it home.
The reigning Russian, European and world champions ran away with the first set, but Lube regained control in the second - aided in part by the increased unforced errors of Kazan (including as many as eight from the service line).
The Italian side opened up a two-point lead at 18-20 and widened that to three with an ace by Enrico Cester as he came on off the bench for 19-22. All Kazan could do was claw back to within a point at 22-23, before a long serve by Ngapeth and a cross-court kill by Robertlandy Simon brought Lube back in the game.
An injury of Bruno Rezende in the right hand at 5-5 in the third could have been a turning point in the game. But reserve server Stijn D'Hulst kept the pace brilliantly for Lube and in fact Kazan had to fight back from 20-22 and 22-23 down before taking the set on their second set point on a block by Matt Anderson on Tsvetan Sokolov.
Bruno did come back on in the fourth and help keep the score tight before, at 21-21, Lube broke away with a run of three for 21-24. Kazan immediately got the sideout and sub Andrey Surmachevskiy aced on Osmany Juantorena to close in at 23-24, but Sokolov eventually had the last word with a hit down the line for the sideout that forced the tie-break.

Lo que creo yo que se marco fue que el acomodador estando de zaguero comodo la pelota con una mano sobre el borde de la red, lo cual seria legal si la pelota no hubiera pasado al otro campo, se considera invasion

@@Gabriel-up6rh saltar si, no hay problema, el problema es que la acomodada iba sobre el nivel superior de la red y me acabo de dar cuenta que el que cometio la falta fue el rematador de ZENIT

@@leoneltolg Resulta ser que el acomodador no hizo invasión, si no que coloco la pelota al ras de la red, donde cualquiera de los dos equipos puede jugarla sin hacer falta y, al haberla tocado el jugador de Lube en el bloqueo primero que el Remator de Zenit, la colocación si contaria como un ataque saltando, por lo cual se consideró falta en este caso.
@@romalive77 ponlo en velocidad 0.5 y verás que el balón no está pasado y el que está invadiendo es Juantorena porque estaba más cerca de la red y por eso tocó el balón primero, pero esa bola era prioridad de Maxim.

It’s so overwhelming seen Ngapeth loosing a match. He’s by far the most hateful volleyball player in the world. A team with Bruno, Leal, Simon and Jauntorena should never loose a match.

Can someone explain what happened at 10:50, why was the point given to Lube / what did Zenit do wrong?
Butko was backcourt, he set ball legally to position 4 but Juantorena touches the ball before Mikhailov did, so it was like Butko, jumping, send the ball to the other side of the court, and that obviously is illegal

@@aldarefremov7307 I think if the ball is over the net both teams are allowed to play it. The defending side, Lube, touched the ball before the attacker (Mikhaylov) did, which means that the last touch before that counts as an attack. Since backrow players aren't allowed to perform attacking hits when jumping from inside the 3-meter line, Butko's "attack" was illegal.
@@aldarefremov7307 I think it's a weird call to make, since the judge needs to be sure that Juantorena touched the ball first. But at least I think that's what happened.

@@tizianoitaliano the ball rotation doesn't change also, videoref is a human not a computer to judge a touch or not. that's the thing if you are a ref you would say touch and if I was a ref i would say no touch. it's a close call but who right or wrong, we would not know

2 9:00 зачем брать такой челендж? судья теперь знает, что повторов у Алекно нет.
3 10:25 судья сначала показал правильно, потом поменял свое решение. Вот и пригодился бы челендж.

En el minuto 10:50, el balón nunca pasó de la red, no fue fault y fue justa la reacción de enojo de Zenit.
no, el fault porquè el jucador azùl estaba en segunda linea y el balón es jugado dal jugador riojo de Lube despues la jugada del azul, antes de su companero azul

The setter is backhands which means the setter cant jump in front court and play the ball over the net and in that challenge you can see the ball slightly went over to the red teams side
