Declaring bankruptcy was a way to discharge student loan debt, but in the mid nineties the law was changed, no way to discharge it. Just like owing back taxes, Student loan debt will be with you forever. Folks that did not go to college should not pay for those that do. I borrowed to obtain a marketable degree and it took ten years to repay, it was well worth the cost.

How in the hell you paid 90,000 dollars to got to nursing school. I paid about 2500 to become an LPN. Another several thousand more dollars to go into an LPN to an RN program. That's 2-3 years tops, and would have been out of school ready to work, without all of that debt, while the Bachelors in nursing STILL has to take the NCLEX. Don't pass the NCLEX, no nursing career. Going to a 4 year college for a nursing degree is dumb all day long.
