My concern about the upcoming protest and the perspectives presented by the so-called youth and activists who are really motivated by self-interest. While I understand the right to protest, I question the timing considering the government's recent efforts to alleviate economic burdens through relief programs. My research suggests that the protest may be politically motivated by those seeking to exploit the situation. Despite challenges, President Tinubu's government is taking steps to address economic issues, such as supporting SMEs and combating inflation. I urge Nigerians to reconsider the protest, as it may worsen economic harm and hinder progress. Instead, let's acknowledge the government's efforts and work together to find constructive solutions. I also call on security services to maintain order and prevent violent activities.
I believe in the right to protest, but I suspect the upcoming protest may be influenced by self-serving interests. It's essential to address corruption and advocate for severe penalties for misappropriating public funds.
The Tinubu government faces challenges, including economic recovery, insecurity, corruption, unemployment, infrastructure development, healthcare and education reform, power supply, and national unity. To address these:
      1. Implement effective economic policies and diversification strategies
      2. Strengthen security forces and address root causes of insecurity
      3. Enact and enforce anti-corruption laws and policies
      4. Invest in youth empowerment programs and job creation initiatives
      5. Develop and implement a comprehensive infrastructure development plan
      6. Reform healthcare and education systems
      7. Address power supply challenges through sustainable energy solutions
      8. Foster national unity through inclusive governance and dialogue
If the government fails to address these challenges, it's crucial to hold them accountable through democratic means."
I made changes to reduce bias and emotive language, rephrasing sentences to present a more balanced view. I also removed some repetitive phrases and condensed the text for better clarity.

Mr. Sowore, prayers do work. I feel your pain though, with thousands of churches everywhere, it's hard to fathom why there has been no positive changes in Nigeria for the past 30 years. Prayers do work. But Faith without works is dead. Nigerians are just praying but they are not activating their prayers with actions. It's like looking for a job, how will you get the job by just praying? You have to do the hard work of networking, sending out resumes etc., to position yourself to be seen and selected by employers. Nigerians are stagnated. That is the real problem sir. Thank you.

If you are blessed enough to travel out of the shithole called Nigeria, it will suddenly dawn on you that prayer don’t really work in Nigeria, because if prayer works, Nigeria would have been heaven on earth.

As the upcoming protest approaches, traditional leaders have a responsibility to engage with their communities and ensure they are informed. Security personnel must prioritize the safety and protection of both public and private properties. In my view, the timing of the protest is unfortunate, considering the government's recent initiatives aimed at alleviating the economic burden on Nigerians. Regrettably, the protest has been hijacked by disgruntled politicians and elements seeking to exploit the situation for their own gain. My research indicates that the protest is politically motivated by those who have lost relevance in today's Nigeria.
While the Nigerian constitution guarantees the right to protest, I question the justification for doing so at this time. Despite economic challenges, the current government, led by President Tinubu, is taking concrete steps to address them, including SME support programs, measures to combat inflation, and efforts to ensure effective monetary policy, fiscal prudence, and exchange rate stabilization.
I urge fellow Nigerians to reconsider the planned protest, as it may exacerbate economic harm and hinder progress. Instead, let us acknowledge the government's efforts to address our economic challenges and work together to support their initiatives and find constructive solutions to our economic issues.

Is tunibu not aware that, protests is constitutional rights for the people of her country? Why is he against the peaceful protests?.in which he himself was the leader of the protests against Good Luck Jonathan? Is he above the law? The constitution said that the government must obey the laws.,and every one must obey the laws. As an examples of a good leader,he's supposed to look for peaceful revolution to his country. Pls,press. Tunibu, allow peaceful protests to take place.

The only way Sowore can make a difference in Nigeria with his ideas is through full engagement the politics of Nigeria. When has ran twice to be the president of Nigeria and each time he has ended up being antigovernmental. When you like at people like Julius Malema in South Africa that Sowore is emulating he is a recognize figure the South African Government because he has representation in parliament. In the recent elections just concluded in South Africa the ruling party had no choice than to have coalition government that would cater for what he believes in that would move the country forward with support from his members. Many years ago he could not get such concession but finally work his way to the point that the government now recognized that he is force to be reckoned with. Sowore cannot say that he is not aware of how Julius Malema got to the point he is today with the Government in South Africa. Strict talks and antigovernmental attitude without solid support from people that matters in the society can only lead to frustration and falling into the trap of those you are fighting. Sowore has his family in the United States and he can always run in and out but they youths he is misleading with his activist approach do not have that ability to move out of the country. Someone that hopes to be the president of a country should have a better strategy rather than seen to be revolutionary. He formed a party that has not registered one single elected person since it was started and neither has he shown any interest in developing the party. How can you make a difference that way? So far many organizers of the protest are hiding their faces while Sowore is likely going to be closely watch because he has a police record of having been involved in a similar situation and since 2019 when he lost the election he has maintained "Revolution Now" as his way to attack the government in power. It is difficult and rare for single individual to take on the government and survive it. Request for protest as request by his lawyer to the IGP is subject to approval. Therefore if he thinks that the FCT Minister is not serious about the event the4 governing body set for August 1, 2024, he will be sorry for himself most especially if the FCT Minister alert the police about the event schedule for that day.

Sowore shut himself in the foot by opposing Obi, whose ideologies were in tandem with his fight. Yet, he maligned him even when Obi had nothing negative to say about him.
He's a man who believes that he's the only one people should look up to as the sole freedom fighter. His criticisms of Obi were based on outright lies and this made millions of voters to leave the Obidathi camp.
He tells the truth for personal reasons. He should be watched
