That's me, but on MAP19 almost onward. Nearly every Plutonia map after MAP21 is very hard for me, except MAP24+27 & 28, those three maps are something.
@@abd-qadirgilani8871 For me, its level 9 Abbatoire, I played in in Brutal Doom Black Metal difficulty and that WAS incredible hard - the final section, you cannot hide in the corners because of the blast damage of mancubus. I hope decino will also play Brutal Doom :-)

Some of the level design in Plutonia is really beautiful. It’s just a shame about all the monster closets and chaingunners! You do very well to fight through it all with such a good sense of humour. I’d love to see you take on something like Quake 2 and the expansions in the future; I reckon you’d have some interesting stuff to show off. I was watching these awesome Plutonia videos and for a moment I thought I was on the same level as decino since I've also played through these levels on this difficulty years ago. And then I remembered decino is playing without saves and with faster monsters ;)
Man I gotta replay Final Doom after watching these videos. Some fun stuff in there. I remember that slime pit with the key spawning the archviles distinctly.

Normally it takes me *AT THE BARE MINIMUM* 10+ minutes to finish MAP20 on NORMAL Ultra Violence, then you just come up, come in, play the same map, on *Pistol Start* no less, with -Fast Monsters enabled, then just finish it in a measly 6;29 minute. How.

@@goebelmasse I think you can already get Ghost Pain Elementals if you kill them with a crushing ceiling. They leave behind a blood splatter that an Archie can resurrect into a ghost.
Lots of Megaspheres in Go 2 It. Not so many in Omen. Also Omen has much nastier traps than Go 2 It. Playing the cooperative verison of Go 2 It maybe a closer comparison but still lacks the ambush traps and lack of health items that make Omen rough to begin with. Fortunately for the quick, Omen does have fallback positions to pick away at the ambushes.
Altima Mantoid (the current record holder) found The Omen really really hard on UV fast. I wouldn't say these levels in this section are very short. Excoriation and The Forsaken Hall from Requiem are shorter than Compound or Neurosphere.
17:31 - ... Map 19 has blood that damages you (earlier, in the room with four platforms in the blood) and blood that doesn't damage you. IT'S NOT EVEN CONSISTENT IN THE SAME MAP!!! **flips table**

Question :D Why do you sometimes shoot BFG into the wall (like in 4:18 and 15:54) and sometimes you hit straight into opponent (like in 2:23 arch-ville?) Would be worse in 4:18 if you shoot straight into those assholes? That trick in 20:20 is awesome XD
The bulk of the BFG damage comes from the invisible tracers that the player emits when the BFG projectile explodes. If I were to shoot the projectile straight into the demons at 4:18 I'd have to wait for the projectile travel time and, on top of that, risk getting hit.
I have a question. When you are teleporting, it seems like you are jumping down to the teleporter. How did you adjust that way? Your Go 2 It run was awesome btw!
Question about the BFG: sometimes you'll shoot the walls and just let the rays imminating from the player do the work, why not shoot directly at the monsters as well?
On map 17, the short map, my yellow key don't work when i try to exit the level. some kind of bug that only happens to me, i swear the game is punishing me for being a coward. nonetheless, that yellow/orange key don't work. I have red and yellow key. all kills and all secret. but i can Not reach the goal.
I use infighting in casual UV as well, useful in episode 4 and at the start of episode 3, and whenever you’re low on ammo. Don’t know if it’s ”pro”, but not a novice technique either, I’d guess.
I always enjoy less this part of plutonia,find it a bit boring .In fact the 2 nd half of the wad is in my opinion a bit slower but maybe it's just because all the 2nd half come after the map 32.Just in those 4 level map 16 is totally forgettable ,map 17 is way too easier even compare to map 03 04 or 12,map 18 is interesting (inmost dens 2 unofficial ,map 19 is a bit too short but is interesting and map 20 is forgettable too. At least in uv_fast 17 and 18 contain a lot of hitscan and it's way harder in pistol start.

The nukage can be interpreted as algae-infested water. The Mucus Flow is a good example.

Projectile travel time often takes too long and monsters can hit you in that time frame.

Is infighting a pro technique? I specifically avoid creating infighting so that I have the pleasure of killing all the demons myself.
It saves ammo on the long run.
It's pretty necessary in pistol start UV, sometimes there just isn't enough ammo to kill everything or it makes it uncomfortably close.
