    Theo, I don’t know if you’ll read this, but I just got out of the hospital for trying to kill myself. I heard this song moments after getting home and just broke down crying. I couldn’t stop for a long time. This song brings life to my heart and makes me smile even when I can’t. Thank you so much for this. You have helped given me a new outlook on life. I am in your debt.

    I love how this song cuts right before the obvious and HUGE climactic ending that he was building - felt like he was truly making an effort to get over himself.

      I like to think that the cut also represents death, in a way.
      It comes from nowhere,its really sudden and maybe it steals us that big final chord,but who cares if you have already enjoyed the ride

    It's so fascinating the different ways that musicians approach creating music. Katzman is creating a completely original sound in the year 2020 and adding a wonderful collection of songs to the universe's ethos.

      Rouverius in complete agreement :) and i second the comment on the “love makes fools of us”, since the negativity i brought is merely a result of love lost (i.e. raised and educated on a strong theological basis, only to walk away disappointed from what i came to see as wishful thinking pretty stories in order to make sense of the chaos and reasonably the purposelessness of human existence).

    Theo really recorded pure gold with this songs. I mean, his other work was really good, but this songs are the most honest, deep and superb written, played and recorded songs I have ever heard.       I took it as a new start within, out of it, something strong. Like a birth I mean :) I felt he just didn't want to end the song that certain way while not starting a new one at the same time surely :). It's true, it does still relate like that to the "actual" song.

    Even without the fairly explicit lyrics this song conveys a theme of loneliness to me. I feel like i'm floating deep space completely on my own, this expert composition speaks the message of staying humble just as well as words could.
