We had to take down the video due to legal issues and it is no longer available anywhere. We are terribly sorry for this inconvenience - we know that many of you have loved that version. HOWEVER, the lyrics we wrote are ours and we are going to compose an entirely original song based around it in the near future - this is a bittersweet vow of artistic retribution!!! I know it’s about Norse mythology, but I don’t know what this song is really about. It won’t leave me and even has brought tears to my eyes multiple times. It plays endlessly in my head, and haunts me in a spiritual kind of way. I wish I knew why
Ygdrasill is a battle hymn to the tree of life....kind of like the catholics last rights before they die....this was their version basically before they run off to war.

Mate I agree that we need to return to better times... but I doubt that Christianity is the problem. While people were still devoted christians, kind of everything was better than in the "post-modern" times... Growth ... birthrates... culture, safety , respect in society . @@AnahataOfficial Thxs for this fair answer, in all cases imo it's kinda complicated to do a cover causes there are 2 possibilities
1 you do a cover with a lots of change, it's pretty risky cause it could kill the original and be a disaster, it's probably easier if the cover isn't in the same style then the original for example mmanson with "tainted in love" or a lot of Leo Moracchioli covers
2 you do a cover close to the original, well if it's a copy-paste it's really not interesting to hear.
So to cover a metal song with metal style is hard cause you shall be between those 2 ways i think.
If i may in your case the voice is really really good, i like less some of your cover cause the original thing i like is a little lost, hmmm i mean in some powerwolf or sabaton covers i don't find the "heavy power" aspect of the original, it's more a vocal style. And yes i really like the power aspect of the original, but it's just me, some other would prefer the cover due to that, haha, complicated to be liked by everyone.
