I never thought I'd be saying this but I never thought that we actually have to see him again I thought he was gone for good but after what Frankenstein told them turns out eggman really is still alive the way didn't Sonic and Shadow tell them about Frankenstein get well as long as eggman doesn't know that Frankenstein lives in a castle in the middle of nowhere in an old abandoned house then he should be fine

Despite the fact that Sonic hates eggman and eggman hates Sonic but it's Christmas time and you know what that means it's time for a truth which means both heroes and villains must never fight on Christmas that's the rules but you know Knuckles isn't too fond of eggman after what he did in the second movie I mean he literally betrayed his trust and his friendship and that's why he started living with Sonic and Tails
