Thanks, your boats ran great. Unfortunately, that's the way it goes. One day, they'll run flawlessly, and the next outing not so much! One little adjustment can make or break a boats behavior on the water. I'm looking forward to our next outing. I just got a new 3 blade 1/4" abc s40 prop we can try on the 48g
Yessir! I got the Idle fixed on the 48. We need to find somewhere "bigger" for it.. I'd almost say the speed run spot, but Gators... And we need a way to go out and get it, if it stalls for any reason.. And I aint swimmin with no dang gators💯😆 I MIGHT have a lead on an acess to Catherine's Lake. And that would be perfect cause I have a john boat we can recover with.
Food for thought. The only differences between the Miss Geico dual and the yellow Zelos dual is the paint and struts. The tops are even interchangeable. Same hull. Electronics are slightly different but that’s it. The MG has longer struts and longer cables. That’s it.
Have you seen the jet powered rc boats that Richard noble has had made to test out his concept for a full size water speed record breaking hydro plane called thrust wsh
I run my boats with a guy who has one of those gassers with a 30 CC xenoah engine.( Same engine that's in my Losi 5T) and let me tell you, my Traxxas M41 bone stock absolutely smokes it.. I don't know those gas boats just aint for me 😂not fast enough. They're all noise and no go.😆🤣🤣
@@SebastianLong I get 10 to 15 min runs on a 6S 5000mah, thats more than enough before i bring it in to check the boat for problems(heat/loose bolts/leaks ect..) You do the same with a gasser so run time is irrelevant to me.
@@PhilBender612 10 to 15 minutes wouldnt even be worth putting the boat in the water for me. I get almost 30 with my proboat zelos twin on a pair of 6000 mah. 20 minutes on a 3700 with my proboat recoil. My sprintjet doesnt get much runtime and it has a 650 mah but is also why i dont use it much. If my RC doesnt get at least 20 minutes out of a pack, i dont even waste my time charging a battery pack for that RC unless i am testing out a modification.
I'm no environmentalists what's so ever. But sad that it's a public pond and I could guess there's a no gas motors rule for a big boat yet you guys are there introducing that nice 2 stoke oil into the water that was never there for them fish. I'm all for fun but common sense isn't for everyone I guess.

Not even a fraction of a percent but then there you guy were with that boat in that pond. So yea it's in there. It's a 2 stroke that's what they do. And if you know how a 2 stroke works then yea it's in there.
People throw trash and litter this pond on a daily basis, and what do I do on a regular basis? Pick trash out this pond! jake only ran that boat it for 1 minute, probably less than a minute. Not my boat brother I can't tell him when or where he can or can't run it. I'm a electric guy no gas for me.

The electrics may be faster, but the gasser will definitely run longer.

We ran that boat for about 1 minute, you tell me how much oil was put in the water in that minute time frame. Common sense tells me not much, if any.
