Mam, i have a little doubt. 1st of all thank you so much for such an amazing and detailed information about design a flange. My doubt is , we have calculated gasket OD= 1974 mm And Bolt Circle diameter=1954.94 mm Gasket must be enclosed by bolts for narrow faced flange as you told us in earlier lecture. It means bolt circle diameter must be greater than the gasket OD, however in this case it is lesser. Please guide me what to do?
Working in oil and gas equipment design. Really helped to understand what went behind the software. Thanks
@10.42 calculated value of Wg is 1.0955 MN which should be corrected as 1.9055 MN.

Prof can you please help with the standard reference number/title that contains the table of diameters, bolt spacing etc
How come bolt circle diameter is 1.9549 and gasket outer diameter is 1.974. How is this physically possible?
Yes same doubt I also have, can you have any explanation?
I will appreciate your timely response.
In Flange 2.1 video you are told SFo is the Flange sress material. But here you are told SFo is the Shell stress material.
Instead of just reading the slide if you tried to explain a bit it would be worth to us.
Thanks
