Bro fits 4 20 min salad videos into 1 9 min video. Incredible stuff. Your recipes look amazing and even though I haven’t cooked a single one from end to end yet, I’ve cooked so many of the individual components you cook and include in your recipes.
Yess! Might have overdone it this time 😂 It’s nice to have options 😁 So glad you like them and even if you just take inspiration from the videos that’s good enough for me!
Thank you! One of my culinary goals for this year is to have several different yummy homemade salad dressing recipes in my repertoire because so far the dressings I’ve tried to make have been subpar. My other goal is to feel comfortable using the large outdoor grill we’ve got without feeling like there’s an impending catastrophe… I’m generally not a phobic person, but that’s a concern for me! Anyway, thanks for starting me on my way to salad dressing success!
You’re welcome! Salad dressings make all the difference and it’s great having a few recipes in the store. You could try making a different one each week to find your favourites. Best of luck with yours goals 😊
This video is amazing and I have learned a lot. I have never thought of a salad as a dish consisting of 6 components. My salads will never be as beautiful as yours, but you have changed the way I think and my salads will definitely be much better in the future. The most exciting was the crispy lentils from the first recipe - I love lentils, but I've never had crispy lentils. Now I can't wait to try them. 😁
I’m so glad this video has helped. You don’t always have to include all the components for example if you don’t want a grain but it’s helps to have some framework. Mmm I love the crispy lentils and you can season them however you like 😃
I've been enjoying salads hotter winter cousin "soup" recently. Leek and Lentil, chilli, sage and bean etc most come together pretty quick and can be easily scaled to make more or less meals. On cold and miserable days like today (south london was -3 last night and maybe peaked at +5 today) being able to microwave leftovers and toast some bread for a hot meal in under 5min is perfect!
Oh yes it’s definitely soup season but I still like a salad occasionally to keeps it fresh. Mmm that leek soup sounds delicious! It’s freezing here in Bristol as well, had a decent bit of snow last night!
Hello matey, I’m not a vegan but I love salads. Your site came up & I loved it. Well done. I subscribed straight after watching the video. I then went to your site, and starting watching your videos from the beginning. Whilst doing a 2 hour ironing session. Great natural presentation.
Hey James, welcome to the channel! You don’t have to be vegan to love salads and veggies. So glad you’re enjoying the videos and they were worthy of your ironing session 😁 Thanks.
Cool Spring day here so warm butterbean salad it is. Thanks for the salad guide. New ideas are helpful. Can you post the recipe for the chickpea and rocket salad, please. If I can find a pomegranate I will make it.
Happy New Year George. What fantastic ways to recover from the excesses of Yuletide .... and as gluten and me ain't on good terms these days, boy do I ever need a way to recover! Fasting day today, then I'll be diving in. 😋
These look nice and the right time of the year for me for salads (if the weather would behave itself) Thank you for the checklist at the end with the various ideas. I need to sub out the coriander in the recipes as I'm not a fan of my food tasting like soap.
You’re welcome, hope it helps. Aha so strange how it tastes so different for different people! Pick another delicate herb that you like and it should be fine :)
Hey there, are there any recipes up your sleeve with coconut butter (not coconut oil)? I just ordered some to try and make vegan butter, but it would be nice to try other stuff too. Thanks in advance.
I buy my mango chutney but I would love to try making it one day. The recipe for the sweet potato salad is in the comment I pinned at the top of the comment section :)
Get in ma belly... :D The problem is, although salads like this are healthier and are supposed to help you lose weight, I end up eating way too much because it's so dang delicious...
So basically a cold meal. Salads are the greens and maybe some other veg. Not saying these are not nice, they are, but this is way more calories fat and protein so don’t add to a meal with also fat and protein.
vegan recipes need to add in healthy fats. other than avocado, plant-based ingredients don't generally have much of any. all of the macros are critical to a balanced diet.
Always extra virgin olive oil. I workout a lot so it’s an easy way to get calories in. Also some vitamins are fat soluble so adding olive oil to salads helps your body get all the nutrients from the veggies :)

You're not alone in the "phobic about the grill" issue....I won't use mine at all for same reason. Hope you meet your goals!
@ Thank you!

Thanks for the wonderful salad and dressing ideas! 😍😋
You’re welcome Sonja! 💚 Hope you give some of them a go 😊
They all look lovely but i definitely want to make the warm courgette and butter bean one ❤
Yess that’s one’s lovely, especially while it’s a bit cold 💚
Thanks for the much needed culinary inspiration.
My pleasure :)

Perfect, glad I could help. The recipe is in the pinned comment at the top of the comment section. Too many recipes to fit in the description! 😁
Thanks George for 3 brilliant salad recipes to try, even the dressings sound exciting! I think I’ll try the grated carrot and lentil one first. 💜
You’re welcome Julie! I love thinking of tasty new dressing to try 😋 Enjoy 💚

Your food is inspiring.
Thank you Jennya 😊
"Yes Doctor...I've been on a diet...eating only salads." "You've gained 10lbs."
Haha guilty 😂
Thank you, George, for the salad guide and all the great recipes…the guide is a sure way to get a more balanced and tasty salad.
Happy New Year!🎉
Happy New Year 🎉 You’re welcome, hope it helps 😊
Brilliant recipes, will try them in a salad-in-a-jar and prepare for the week ahead.
Thanks! Good idea, I’ve never tried the salad-in-a-jar method.
These all look amazing. I can’t wait to try them!
Hope you enjoy them 😊

Happy New Year! Yes exactly what I was thinking, needed a bit of a reset. Best of luck 💪

Great, you’re welcome Diana!
Great ideas. Good presentation. Subscribed!
Thanks a lot, welcome to the channel 😁
Go vegan ❤️
Yum!
I'm proudly able to resist all salads
Haha you should be proud 😂
Hey there, are there any recipes up your sleeve with coconut butter (not coconut oil)? I just ordered some to try and make vegan butter, but it would be nice to try other stuff too. Thanks in advance.
Hmm I don’t have much experience with coconut butter. Maybe use it in baking or perhaps on roasted veg. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help!
This is Michelin star cooking. I wish that I was smart enough to cook like this.
Not sure about Michelin but definitely tasty! I’m sure you are, just takes practice 😀
Mango Chutney recipe please 😊
I buy my mango chutney but I would love to try making it one day. The recipe for the sweet potato salad is in the comment I pinned at the top of the comment section :)
Am I the only one who never fancys salad in the winter. I will come back to these when it gets warmer.
That’s fair, sometimes I need a break from all the soups and stews and just want something fresh. You can enjoy this video in summer 😊
Get in ma belly... :D The problem is, although salads like this are healthier and are supposed to help you lose weight, I end up eating way too much because it's so dang delicious...
Haha yeah that is a potential problem 😂 at least you’re eating healthy 🤷♂️
🔥❤🎉
I'm not quite sure what chili jam is, but I know you should never put it on fried rice according to my TH-cam Malaysian uncle 🤣🤣
Aha I’ll keep that in mind 😂 It’s basically just chili cooked in sugar and vinegar to make jam
Heck yeah, it's a garbage salad 🥗
I’ve never heard of a garbage salad haha
So basically a cold meal. Salads are the greens and maybe some other veg. Not saying these are not nice, they are, but this is way more calories fat and protein so don’t add to a meal with also fat and protein.
Yes I’d probably eat a couple of these salads on their own. Or have smaller portions of them next to the main part of the meal.
You use so much oil. Otherwise looks nice. ❤
