Even though I’m a guitarist by trade, I’m a huge fan of great drummers. Petar is high on my list of the drummers to watch, listen to, and learn from. Musicians who don’t pay close attention to the percussion are doomed to mediocrity. Petar and Cory, thanks for the inspiration!
ok, i wanted to go to the jazz open to see fanta 4. after all, i've known the band since 1993. i read that cory wong also plays there. so i quickly watched a video or two of cory on youtube. then they played live at 6pm and i almost freaked out. i can hardly imagine how much blood, sweat and tears it must have cost as a musician to acquire such skills. Since then I almost only listen to cory wong. that's addicting. 😁 and my wife and son love it too 🤩

Words can’t describe how great this show is. Everything. Band, sound mix, collective performance. Seeing them in February. If it’s a fraction as good as this, it will still be AMAZING!!
How did Cory not make the Rolling Stone list for best guitars?!? Sure he's a great song writer and band leader but damn, he's an incredible guitarist and performer. Give him is due!!! He is exceptional and deserves more recognition.

I've been a Cory diehard for a long time -- I'll watch any new live version of any new tune, because Cory's vehicles are the gift that keep giving. The Petar, Kevin and Jay solos on Sidestep were just something I was not expecting! Much elevated respect for Jay especially - that Wah trumpet solo dude come on!
Cory and his band are the incarnation of the accomplished groove and brilliant entertainers at the highest level - even when performing in pajamas... 😊

Boy, Kenni’s solo was like a dream….and all these guys standing behind him, backing him so beautifully…. Every single musician on this stage is absolute world-class. What a concert!
😁😄 Oh yes, but maybe the stage is made in USA, Japan or France? Maybe Poland or UK? Everything is international these days. But the talent of the boys really weighs heavily!
@@alexa.2072 In germany we mostly use Nivtec stage platforms. Those are made in germany. Espicially with products as big and heavy as stages its not always efficient to ship it around the globe.

Yeah, at one point he even realized that hard panning Cory's guitar to the left is not a really good idea at live shows.
@@Fastvoice There was a technical problem. This was fixed by swapping out the guitar at timestamp 07:02. At timestamp 18:02 was swapped back. 🎸
