Nice! I remember those El Conquistador tourneys very well. I agree - getting 2nd when Dan-o was there WAS like winning.

It's great to know you guys,, I was at the "Top if the Pines" that year. Y'all were Always near or at the top of the tourneys that I was there for. Great to see your friendship over all the years,,, it shows what this sport is about!

Hello Pete. I have a couple quick questions for you. I live in Gilbert and was wondering, do you give lessons, or is there someone that you could recommend? I’ve been playing for a year and have things decently dialed in for intermediate courses. I throw about 350-375 consistently, and for frame of reference, I shot 5 down at Red Mountain South on Sunday. I’m about 43 years old and would like to add about 75 feet of distance, at least. Most of the more difficult courses that have 400 plus par 3’s are just un-birdieable to me. Any suggestions?

Yes I do give lessons. You can reach out to me on FB messenger or Instagram messenger, and go from there.
From the info you have shared, I’ll bet you throw 48-52mph
You would need to up your arm/disc speed by a minimum 5-8 mph to bring 400’ of distance into play, or get really good at putting from 50’-75’. I think I could help you get the kinks worked out. :)
