@@Frostin69 where you going? Hell in south florida the answer is basically everywhere. There's so much water and places to fish. The everglades for example is like fishing heaven. Water runs along side the entire highway and you can just pull over and fish anywhere.
Would love to see some head to head action with Gear VS Fly… It’s always blown me away that more bass guys don’t get into the fly game!! Each has their place but when it comes to spooky fish or over-pressured water, the fly rod can be a seriously effective tool 👌🏻
Poppers and streamers are great but honestly the amount of different presentations you can do with a standard rod and real is kind of king. I love to fish creeks and rivers for trout and steelhead. But I also love the puzzle part of bass fishing and the rod and reel gives me more pieces to solve it.
I just want to see someone who is a master fly angler go head to head with a tournament gear guy.. I think fly rods have their place in the tournament bass world! You can mimic the action of almost any popular bass lure with a fly, and when you add in sinking/floating lines, the ability to “hover” the fly in a strike zone, the limitless color/material options.. The ability to cover water with a fly is significantly less in comparison to conventional bass gear due to casting distances but that is the only drawback.. but those that know what they’re doing could seriously do some damage in a tournament situation and it would be really exciting to see a couple OG’s battle it out! I’m sure Blane Chocklett could give any tournament angler a run for his money hahaha I don’t really care to see Jon throwing flys.. no offense! But at the same time why would he take it seriously??! Lol anyway, would love to see a fly vs conventional gear battle one day.. just make sure you get a real OG involved to represent appropriately hahaha
This is cool I've seen a lot of collaborations between fisherman the most of them are you googan guys you should definitely jump outside that Circle more often there's some pretty good fishing TH-camrs
They need to do more with the canadian guys uncut angling, jay siemens, clayton schick, etc. Jon did a couple vids with uncut years back but it'd be great to see more
All these videos make me want to be a Googan squad member I been fishing for about 40 plus years and when I came to fresh water I tell you it's a different fishing experience this last summer I finally started finding fish and fishing them out just drinks so far but Biggens are there I hooked into some but wS not able to land them
