Louder pipes are great. I rev at the guy in front of me at red lights when he's on his phone and it turns green instead of using my weak factory horn. Sounds a lot tougher then that little "meeeep"
Beautiful sporty, man. You got some pretty cool vids, boss! This is my favorite part of the sportster platform, the amount of aftermarket and the price.
Thank you for the kind words and I couldn't agree more about the sporty! I have one, pops just got one today, and my buddy has a project sporty being finished this week. It's truly like legos. Thanks for stopping by!
Dude!! crazy!! I just bought my 2019 XL1200X 48' from Doc's, and I know every road, and area your on in this video, cause I live in Affton!! Very cool video, I've seen these pipes, and wondered if they are worth buying, sounded pretty good considering the pricepoint. Great vid man!!
If you want to try them out your more than welcome. They are sitting under my work bench. I put short shots on the iron and well I just bought an old Dyna. They’re sitting there collecting dust. You’re welcome to them if you like
Did it feel like you lost any acceleration power with the new pipes? I lost a baffle for my 2001 screaming eagle pipes so I took the other baffle out and lost all power. I got some cheap baffles only ones I could find and they helped a little. But I'm looking for a better option and there's really only short shorts and neighbor haters. Then I saw these.
After i bought my bike i found out if i changed the pipes out my warrenty is voided unless i get screamin eagle products installed by harley techs. That harley tax is no friggin joke. So in that aspect, ive been looking at slip ons. These sound deep 👌
Don't blame H-D for the warranty crap... blame EPA, in the wake of VW's diesel shenanigans the EPA started coming down on other mo-co's too. The reason for only SE stuff retaining powertrain warranty is the SE stuff is completely EPA compliant. It sucks, I know. Harley got fined by EPA for honoring powertrain warranties on bikes with non-EPA compliant mods (tuners, and pipes without catalytics primarily)
Im pretty sure you didn't do any kind of retuning after installing these. Has the bike been running OK with these slip ons with no tune? Really want them for the 17 iron I just picked up until I can afford a full stage 1 for it. Its a little too quiet for me to be comfortable in traffic with the stock mufflers.
@@ZackFirstPerson Thanks for a quick reply. You still haven't done any retunning or remapping yet right? No popping or backfiring or any running issues without a remap?

Could always get one of those small air horns I see people putting on their bikes. I think Walterrific runs one

@@ZackFirstPerson it's a special day for him getting it, man. Lots of memories to be made!
Sounds lovely!!
Thanks! I was impressed as well
sounds is good .. like an old bike ... not too noisy ... Match with the bike itself
Nice sound and a terrific price on the pipes. Very nice work!
Marty!!!! Thanks bro!
Yeah, if you're spending that much on the Big Radius, getting the tuner and air cleaner is a good idea. Great video, brother!

@@ZackFirstPerson I would love to get my hands on them, let me know what's easiest for you, and i'm gonna make it happen
Cool cool. We will link up. If it ever stops raining lol.
@@ZackFirstPerson I emailed you my phone#, just let me know where, and when, I really appreciate it!!

Nice sound for inexpensive slip on pipes...I agree with Great Egret...full exhaust system requires new air cleaner and tune for the best results!
I saw another review of them rusting. How are your slip ons holding up? Any rust or any issues?
How does the color of the mufflers look after extended use ? Any rust or issues like that??
Great vid bike sounds awesome
Thanks for the kind words!
How are they looking at getting some for my 883 thanks
No complaints so far! Getting me by just fine until I go stage 1
OK thanks enjoy mate can't wait to get mine
Sounds good! Good price for the rumble you want. Blum Blum Blum Braaaaaaaap!
ZackFP for sure! Thanks for the bump!
great video!
Thanks babe!
What kind of baffle

I enjoy the sound of these pipes a lot. A full exhaust is a little throatier but these will do.

eBay link says they don’t work on a 2019 883 but I’m assuming the link provided are the same ones you installed also? Thanks!
Yes that was confusing to me as well but they do indeed fit.

I do like them quite a bit. I was in the same boat as you are. They are cheap enough and loud enough for cars to know I’m there. No complaints

I’m sorry I just saw this. No remapping needed and the thing runs like a top. No backfiring or sputtering at all.
Does it come with the 2 mufflers or do I have to order 2?
Comes with 2
Ebay says it doesn't fit the 2019 iron 883...
True that’s what it says. But I ordered it anyway and it does indeed fit.
Too louder
Rush is better then this
