My phone has intermittent issues connecting to the Autotrickler even though it's found it via bluetooth. I've found restarting the app fixes it 95% of the time and the other 5% of the time, restarting the scale fixes it.
I have been having similar issues. The only way I have been able to get it to connect is to unplug the V4 and plug it back in. It happens quite frequently.
Restarting the app is what they recommended I try but it didn’t work. I even deleted the app and downloaded it all over which didn’t work either. The only way I can get it to connect is to unplug the actual unit and plug it back in. Even turning it off and then back on doesn’t work. My system has always been finicky. Even tuning it. I have had to do almost the exact opposite of what Adam suggests for tuning. I think my top cover / draft shield is slightly tilted so it’s not aligned to match the scale. I have always had to raise the front of the unit to tune it. Whereas Adam suggests lowering the front or raising the rear. 🤷🏻♂️ maybe I’m just doing something wrong I don’t know
@@JustinSmith-rz2lu our units sound similar. I too had to tune things backwards when I first got the unit but it seems to have mostly settled down. Hopefully yours does the same.
@@707Sportschuetze I'm talking about the clips. A plug would be a welcome change rather than the clips. Clips on short wires require you to pull the machine away from anything it may be up against to disconnect and I invariably bump something because they're very tight and when they release, there's a lot of energy being exerted that needs to go somewhere.
Very nice design, that said the 3D printed parts turn me off completely. They feel unserious and not up to the standard of the rest of the parts. I get that it’s an inexpensive way to manufacture things but it feels and looks cheap. Fusion jet would be more tolerable, the resulting parts achieve a finished quality that’s much less objectionable looking/feeling. Turned UHMW like Delrin would be another more palatable choice.
Adam,
These videos are REALLY helpful.
Thank you,
Nick Brown
Should you recalibrate the scale with the 100 gram check weight AFTER moving the bubble level off center as demonstrated here using Varget?
When you’re changing the primary four settings on the scale, it would have been nice if you would’ve told us what you were doing
everything is in the manual

@@JustinSmith-rz2lu I used to need to unplug it as well but now restarting the app seems to solve it.

I would love a much easier way to disconnect the scale from the unit.
How easier than with a Plug?
