The Mississippi State-Texas A&M game is absolutely one of the coolest and rarest sights ever. A feature SEC team playing a long time SEC team in the snow, in Louisiana, in an absolute classic of a game wow what an awesome game.
The 2000 MSU-A&M game will always be one of my all-time favorite bowl games. It was a fantastic game, and was a very rare sight to see in Shreveport, Louisiana. Fun fact: I know some people that were in the FMB (Famous Maroon Band) at the time and they told me their mouths legit froze to the mouthpieces because it was so cold at the game. Also, I’m actually at MSU in the FMB right now, and we go bowling this weekend in Nashville. Hopefully it won’t have to snow at the game.

How is it that the 2000 Independence Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana, where the average high temp for the date is 58 degrees (with a record high of 81!) was the snowiest game in this entire compilation?

This is what bothers me about the sec if it rains thats a bad weather game for them listen the first half of the season it warm in the big ten but mid October till December its cold and or snowing the sec dont have to deal with it
