    I remember buying the Sanyo pm-8300 for $280 (USD) on sprint in 2006 and now seeing that for under $100 (USD) there are a wide variety of budget smartphones. We have come a long way since then.

    I'm watching this on a Phoenix 5, and it's a beautiful secondary phone to my LG G7 ThinQ, and I don't regret paying the $49 for it!

      How are the battery life and the cameras? I'm considering about whether to upgrade to the LG Aristo 5 which is an upgraded version of the Phoenix 5.

    • @JN20022

      LEGODANIEL ONE Battery life is great, so no complaints there at all! The camera, especially the ultrawide camera, leaves a little to be desired. It's fine for day to day use, but you won't get any professional level photos out of it. Overall I give the Phoenix 5 a solid 9/10

    Bought one November 19,2020. Its now January 25,2021 and its already screwing up. The SD card keeps "dismounting" itself, over and over. I turn off to reset, its ok for a few minutes the "dings" and has a message that the SD card has been "unexpectedly removed". Will have to buy another phone.

    I have the Pheonix 4 and I've been very happy with it,but I don't consider this an upgrade with the same amount of ram and storage,I think charging maybe 20 dollars more and adding another Gb of ram and 32 GB of storage would have been the right move,at 69 dollars the pheonix 5 would now be a killer budget phone,I'm considering the lg stylo 6 as my upgrade,but for a first time android user or new to a prepaid phone this is actually a pretty good deal for what you're getting.

    Looks to be a very competitive budget phone for the $50 price, definitely a pleasant upgrade from the Phoenix 4. The LG Aristo 5 is also a very nice improvement from the Aristo 4 Plus.

    I have this phone. I paid much more not sure if it's because I'm in Canada or not. Cannot put any app on the ad card which is VERY frustrating!!

    I just got this phone directly from At&t,and it was $99.00.At&t charges more because they do not want to give their customers much of a deal,I guess.Anyway,I am low-tech so it sounds like a good phone to me.I like my Samsung Galaxy Express 2,but the power button does not work anymore,so I needed a phone.I hope this works out.

    This phone can use a 128GB I can confirm because I have one with it. It being a 128GB SD means that this phone can read SDXC memory cards which support up to 2TB. I cant say if itll read that much for sure but I can say it reads my 128GB card just fine

    Good phone
    Cheap $60 for me
    Quadcore 1.4 GHz cortex 153 processor
    (Good)
    5.7 in screen
    Cons
    Gets slow at times
    Only 720p (but I don't think that's to bad)
    Low storage space by default

    Get the Moto G7 from Walmart for $79 instead. Definitely worth the extra money. This phone has zero way to move apps to SD card for storage.

    • @CityChristina
      @CityChristina 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had LG phones for years until I bought a Motorola G7 Play a week ago. It has the most bugs of any phone I've had and it doesn't hold WiFi signal as good. I regret the purchase. Gonna sell it and go back to LG.

    • @OklaBoondocks
      @OklaBoondocks 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CityChristina Ya it's mixed sometimes. I've had way more luck with Moto than LG for sure and I like LG interface too. I've had the Moto E4, E5 play, G6 play and forge and they were all great phones with the G6 being the most buggy. I've been using the Phoenix 5 now a few weeks and the longer I use it the worse it gets. Sometimes I need to reboot several times a day or it has response issues big time. Like touching a icon or keyboard key and it literally taking several seconds to respond. Makes it impossible to type sometimes until you reboot. I might have got a bad one idk but I'm going back to Moto. The worst part for the phoenix is not being able to make your SD integrate to be internal memory to take some load off the devices limited memory and storage. I'm thinking that's what causes the lag issues.
