Just bought a new one today. Had a Carlton 7015trx for many years. I also run the green teeth I love them. Hopefully I love this rg80 I never had a backfill blade so that’s gonna be great. I am a little worried about the gasoline motor having as much power and longevity of a diesel but from what they say it’s not an issue so I hope that’s how it turns out. Looking forward to running something different for a change lol. Great video I watched it twice.
The only thing I don't really like is to hydraulic motor that drives the main Cutter wheel I prefer direct drive ..... I own a raco 1672 it's been a great stump grinder
If you don't loose or break your remote there are no cons. Swing out controls suck. You will be stuck to the machine. Limited view, dust, and hard to get into tight places. I won't ever buy another non remote grinder

I currently use a 45x grinder. How much faster is the rg80 then the 45. I do city stumps and would like to get a bigger machine. Thanks for your input

On a very busy day ill use 15-20 gal. 7-7
Depending on stump size I use 20 gal 8-10 hour's
