I live to the east of you and the most common archaic point in this area is concave base, straight stem, shouldered point, usually serrated, usually re-worked. Basalt, obsidian, petrified wood, chert, chalcedony. I think they'd be classified as "bajada". Most are very finely executed. The style is quite different from the dovetail, corner notch and side notch archaic points that are also found.

Clovis are found all over the world? That is not true. They have been found i British Columbia, Northern Mexico and thats about it. Europe= no, Siberia=no etc. if you have info contrary to this please provide a citation.

There is no such thing as Archaic or Paleo. There is one period I call Abbotts Epoch. People came to North America about 30,000 B.C. then about 11,000 B.C there was a catastrophe that killed the Megafauna and humans and wasn't repopulated until 5,000 B.C. Don't you People ever wonder where all of this beautiful stone knapping went to.
