    The Green Education Project (GEP) aims to educate young people in schools and communities of Bamenda in the North West Region of Cameroon about local and global environmental issues. By using creative arts, media, sports, toolkits, and DIY activities, the project engages youth to advocate for and address pressing environmental challenges such as climate change, deforestation, poor waste management, desertification, etc.
    The main objectives of the project include;
    1. Promote Environmental Education via school environmental clubs and the Earth Rangers Summer Holiday program
    2. Utilize creative tools such as poetry, drama, arts, music, and sports to promote environmental education and advocacy.
    3. Use media platforms (radio and social networking sites) to educate young people about local and global environmental issues and disseminate information about environmental opportunities, such as scholarships, fellowships, jobs, etc.
    4. Develop and distribute environmental education toolkits and DIYs to promote environmental awareness and action in schools and communities.
    5. Encourage recycling and circular economy initiatives to improve employment and economic opportunities for young people.
