Vintage 1954 Tonka Star-Kist Tuna Truck Restoration

The ending makes me smile, back to hauling freight. I drain my tuna and have been enjoying tuna since I was a little kid in the early 1960s but never saw this wonderful truck. My older brother had a metal pickup truck and now I will forever wonder what became of it.

The Rust-Kist truck was in terrible shape, but your masterful restoration changed it from a rust-bucket to a beautiful Star-Kist truck once again! Tuna is a great source of protein...eat it in moderation as some canned fish still can contain mercury. Sometimes dolphins get caught in nets meant for the capture of tuna fish. Tuna also has a distinct smell...
