Well done Mick, great to get some more targets and good to see the after shots once finished. P.S. I love that Archie will do anything to get on film even if it's leaving a nugget for the next guy to detects there...…CLASSIC!!
Great work Mick. Opens up a lot of ideas, all look a rounded, means traveled Is the gravel getting bigger as you ahead up the hill? Wonder if a cross cut would point you in the right direction. Noticing the different. Soil types. Still great find. Keep it quite.
No the gravel thinned out up hill before the reef, under the top soil about 4 inches down there is gravel. Need a GPX5000 and a 12 or 14 Evo coil to get down a little further
Nice clip Mick 🍺 I see the blue dog added its own nuggets 😂 Done what your doing a few times, it can and has paid handsomely....you know your alive digging deep holes or 3ft of overburden. Thanks for sharing mate
Hi there. Yes all good. Went out a little while ago and got some pieces by following the remains of an old reef, random digging and detecting the holes got me a few pieces. Just finishing up the editing on the video. Thanks for asking 😀
Hi Phil, yes I did one time in Heathcote area, went down a couple feet to find I was on top of a star picket. Hoping to get out mid July 21 back to the Triangle, everytime I plan a trip Covid kicks in again
Hi Mick, I have worked a mullock heap and it has produced about 16 small nuggets. It seems empty now. Do you often just dig deeper on mullock heap after it seems exhausted of gold?
After I find one, I always take off around another 25mm (1") from just around the hole and the immediate area, If I happen to find a few on there I will end up coming back another day and rake it over thoroughly (If I don't have my rake on me), I won't go too deep on a mullock heap. I mostly find gold on the higher side of the heap rather than lower, so this saves me some time as well.
The dog left you a nudget 🤣 good work mate 👍🏼
That was hard work. Good that you enjoyed it.

He gets in the way when he's bored and annoys the S#% out of me, still take him with me though, when he finds an old Kangaroo leg it keeps him busy

Hi Mick, I enjoy your videos. I have had an SDC for about 3 months up in the Bathurst region. Do you dig screaming targets as well?

Hi just wondering what them orange things are called holding the coil cord in place.
Hi, they are just a small type bungee cord from bunnings, hold the lead in place
Good

@@TheBasilmutt Thanks Mick for your prompt reply. I enjoy your videos and learn a lot from them.
@@philbophilbo4945 Great to hear, Just waiting for these lock downs to stop so I can get back out
I'd be hitting that spot with a 7000 with 19in coil as soon as possible lol.
Yes, I've been back a couple of time since and still find a few little ones. Need to get the 5000 with a EVO coil onto it
Esse é lambedor de ouro kkkkkk .
