Just over a week ago, the World Bank president was in Lome Togo to commission a number of developmental projects. This show's the country's membership in the UK commonwhealth is starting to make a difference. While am here I will be looking into how tourism and investments in the country are looking. Then i'll investigate how the english language is starting to be incoprated into the educational system.
Overall, my first impression of Togo is that it is a country on the rise, with a growing economy and a vibrant business scene. The presence of big factories shows that the country is attracting big investors and is serious about promoting economic growth. This is an exciting and promising start to my visit.

I did that exact trip this year in february (from Benin to Togo) during my holidays....it was great/beautiful and i'll never forget 😉 just get your paper (visa/passport etc...} and drive carefully cause Togo police is really hard to deal with (even worst than in Benin) 😑

They need to employ more hands for the Cleaning. Cotonou is much Cleaner while Lome is bigger and more developed.

@@MyAfricaViewbigger ???l think the contrary may be when adding surburbs to the old Lomé and not considering the surburbs for Cotonou . Lomé has been widened to its suburbs ( From 90 to 333km2) the same way Cotonou ( From 79km2 is broadened in such a way that sème kpodji, Cotonou, Calavi and even pahou Ouidah are like a unique city. Calavi alone is 650 km2 , sème kpodji is 250km2 , Ouidah is 362 km 2etc.. Calavi taken alone is twice the surface of Lomé.

The urban area of Lome is big. I was surprised, It's bigger than Cotonou and urban area of Calavi together. But with new development in Cotonou and Calavi, rural to urban migration could make them a lot bigger and more developed.

@@MyAfricaView lve been regularly in Lomé and went around the city again and again agoe, zanguera adetikope, adidogonme , legbassito, baguida are the suburbs but all that combined aren't bigger than Cotonou, sème And Calavi combined. l don't share your point. May be because you were not there regularly

What is unbelievable? The fact that the child who is born in Togo potentially enters a process where his or her destiny is hindered
What is unbelievable? The fact that the 60-year-old dynastic tyranny that kills our parents at Togo has the means to devasted our lives abroad?
What has changed after Togo has joined the UK Commonwealth is that the tyranny has more support. Nothing has changed as far as we the people of Togo, bruised in the flesh and in the soul by sufferings and pains are concerned.
Our devasted destinies are the costs of all these.
Leave us alone with your propaganda saying unbelievable Togo. You are not the one paying the bloody price nor your parents. We are those are paying the price.
