Far as I can see (and its kinda hard cause I can barely keep up with your incredible speed and execution) the key to this is coordination between Yinlin and Christopher. With our resident solid snake doing some shenaningans that let him pop for over 100k dmg on a bad day. He really seems rewarding once you get the hang of that rotation.
Ya it really comes down to being comfortable with a rotation and having his inputs ingrained in muscle memory, Basic attack 2 cancels are you're bestfriend when you're trying to learn to play calcharo at a high level, I have another video that explains my inputs with on screen visuals for the rotation with calcharo and xiangli yao if you're curious what the input timings look like. And I gotta say I seriously feel like the honored one after that monologuing you did there lol, that's for brightening the day man.

@Nesteayy i only realized after I was done that I used the you can't fight alone line twice back to back, would have substituted the first one if I noticed it but ya it was pretty fun trying to put that convo together with the visuals leading into the actual fight with the limited time before the fight starts.
@@Kizaki_sama oh, ive put so many hours into the variations of that thing so far that i have multiple versions of it at this point, the 4DM's is what makes it tricky tho, once you make it past that you'll probably be doing the rest off muscle memory alone.

Also those of us who avoid it literally just do because we don't plan on being hit, usually when you death messenger or mercy you swap off calcharo which makes him invincible. @mujtahidislam3417 personally I'm not a fan of lingering tunes, it limits you're playstyle alot by requiring 6 seconds before you're fully buffed which means if I was to switch in after an outro I don't benefit properly for nearly half the outro's duration. Also void pieces are more flexible while even compared to lingering the damage isn't by any means less played more optimally. To describe a scenario I'm thinking of imagine you fully buff from a verina then outro from her to jiang then ult and swap with jiang to xiangli or calcharo, with lingering tunes you now have to wait 6 seconds of field to fully benefit from the buffs while on void you could have prepared you're Tempest going verina> xy/cal>xiang> xy/cal for ult into you're dps burst. If you tried something similar on lingering you're damage would peak around half way through the outro from jiang but the issue is calcharo does etching+first dm in the first 3 seconds and xiang does ult, kinda feels like a big loss to me.

For me his limitations and sorta the design philosophy behind his heavy attacks, his slowlness and inconsistent liberation dmg application (at least in my hands) made him feel like he wasn't playing wuwa, especially after getting a feel for jhinsi and xiangli yao who had so much more to compliment about them. But the way the game is played definitely evolved and I learned something from this vid for sure. He's much more flexible than I thought. The comment was for sure a bit of an over exageration.
