You should check out Capture Age, which is spectating software that works with WK. I think that it is a fantastic way to spectate games and it is a shame the DE system is a step backwards from it.
It's prolly cos CaptureAge is a private endeavour i.e. they're charging for it. So DE couldn't just copy and build it in, and I suppose it was too much work and too low a priority prior to release to make something just as good. Maybe now tho...
@@ArawnOfAnnwn I'm pretty sure the capture age people would be happy to help get capture age into DE if Microsoft asked them to, it uses a bunch of Microsoft's copyrighted IP so I'm pretty sure that Microsoft could technically strong arm them, but that would be bad for the community and would sour hard working and friendly developers.
One thing to note for the matchmaking, its kinda useless for team games. Anything above 2v2 is going to be horribly unbalanced (in all tg ive done ~2 were any semblance of real balance). Compared to lobby system you could choose to kick players who didnt suit the requirements now we have to live with that one member on that 3v3 or 4v4 who is wondering what the imperial age feels like & always goes full feudal maa & archers at 15 minutes into the game. If they last that long. This is merely trading quality of games for convenience. Its not really a balanced system because of this.

@@Dpmt Or they could just buy it with the insane amount of money they throw around every other day. I doubt CA devs would haggle for untold millions
There are 4 more challenge missions hidden in the campaign files. However not narrated and ambiguous to what each type of medal threshold is.

Agree on separate matchmaking for Arabia and BF. I have no interest in any other maps, which has caused me to stop playing the game..
Use aoe2 music in your videos. it will improve them greatly
The fact that they've boosted the system requirements so much is incredibly suspicious to me. How can you mess that up?
