I am a Christian and i have great admiration and respect to Buddhism . One question i would like to ask is that how come they consume meat as what is shown in the video ? Because i heard that Buddhists are vegetarian
I have done treks in Nepal and spent time among the Sherpas. I had the same question. I was told that animals are not slaughtered for food. When an animal becomes old, they are sometimes put in what is similar to an old folks home where they are cared for until they die of natural old age. At that time they are used as food. Namaste!!
