Conan The Adventurer is my favourite cartoon of all time. Still watch it from time to time and it has such a classic underrated intro! Been looking forward to these reviews dude! What is best in life? These figures!
I really like the start of the film. The first 30 or so minutes of the story is heavily told through music and little dialogue. It's quite memorable.

as an 80s kids, its too bad we don't get to see these in theaters, glad I saw the reruns of both GB 1&2 & Aliens in theaters in the 90s, amazing effects despite the CGI at the time.

@@franciscomarquez3678 I did in powerlifting in my 20s in the uspf and I still do today in powerlifting. The uspa and IPL. Those federation are well renowned all over the world. In the IPL and uspa I have won ipl 2017 world competition and state and national with uspa and set world and national and state records and in 2017 I qualify to go on the world cup in Moscow Russia. I didn't get to go to that one, because I only had 75% of the money raised. I wanted to go so bad. So hopefully I can try and qualify for world cup again and raise enough money. I'll have to look to see were the world championship and world cup will be this year. The nationals I believe is held in California. When I use to complete in bodybuilding; yes I have completed against people who in the future would become famous. I have beat drug users and natural guys, and they have also placed higher then me. That was in the 1990s I have completed in aau and NPC nationals and won my pro-card at that time

I wish I knew how to get ahold of a representative of a figure company and tell them about bodybuilding figures and a stage and accessories. I've had this ideal sense I was in high school. If they could meet with me at a meeting at a steak house in Lexington,ky or pikeville, ky so I could talk to them about my ideal. I've been wanting that kind of collection for 35 years.
I plan on hitting the face with dull coat when I get mine. I think it will make a big difference in making the likeness in the sculpt more apparent.
Totally agree out of all the looks in the Conan pitfighter montage this was the one to go with, especially considering most of the other Conans in the line will be shirtless (topless?). The highlight of this figure for sure is the wealth of accessories - and there is more in the box than the promotional pics show. Great review!!
The sculpt is off. I can see what they're going for, those scenes and Ahnold's expressions are burned into my brain... but it seems off all the same. The gloss isn't helping one bit. The rest of it looks great.
I loved Conan comics too ,especially the savage Conan big magazines but super 7 is a bit too expensive for me for what you get but those weapons are cool .

That face is like five years behind what’s going on with figures face scans now. Looks like Arnold’s stunt double. They need to get away from that MOTU body already. It’s so outdated. I dig the accessories though,

The likenesses aren't perfect, but I wouldn't say the facesculpts are *bad* by any means. I think the translucency of the plastic really makes it hard to see accurately, as you said. All in all, I'm actually more than okay with these figures. I bought these to have as 'toys' from the film and they fit that aesthetic very well. Thanks for the thorough review, and I'm stoked that this is only the beginning!
Wow, that face looks bad! Why on earth did they release him in an outfit he wears for about three seconds of the film? Such an odd choice.
My Atlantian sword handle was is so tiny that Conan can’t grip it. The blade is translucent it’s so thin. That’s not an exaggeration. Very different from the quality of the other accessories. Anyone else have this issue or is mine defective?
I love the Ultimates style. I don't need them to mess with it much, it's good. It has charm :)
The first Conan action figure Super7 showed at Power Con 2019 was great and I was highly anticipating it but I don't like any of the versions they released so far. If they ever release that first one I'm on it but not these, these are an easy pass for me. Thanks for the review though Toy Bro.
P.S. Even that first one needs to be matte like they first showed him, if it's glossy like this one I will pass on it yet again.

An outstanding review on yet another disappointing figure from Super 7. I love Conan, MOTU, and Thundercats, but I've never bought any from Super 7 because of the cheap looking glossy plastic. Oh well, more money for Mythic Legions.
@unclassified but for the price you get better quality then super 7. I would rather support mythic legions because they are at least consistent with their QC. Super 7 isn't at all. Their quality for a figure that costs almost 50 bucks is trash and unacceptable. Have you seen their thundercats wave? They are absolute garbage. Stop defending sub par crap that is over priced. Super 7 sucks.
I hope they make one of Valeria from the first film.
The review is great as always! The figure considering the waiting time , price and quality is a let down, it feels lacking care. I have a half detolf of Conan figures, but this pit fighter version won't join their ranks. I think even the choice of figure the pit fighter version is boring. The figure is glossy, the weapons are disproportionate, the figure is movie inaccurate , more like a luxury toy, then a collector item. The final confrontation with the hornet helmet movie version would have been an intriguing choice. The other figs from this line doing good job though. and They keep you waiting and after delivering this quality is beyond annoying.

Super7 should dedicate to make boxes. Forget making the figures, Super 7 sucks in that department. They should sell boxes with photos of the pre order's prototypes inside LOL
it´s funny cos it´s true haha, And then Brian, from Super7, i mean he looks like a nice guy but, he get´s all angry about the bad comments, but damn, that plastic looks cheap and glossy.
Something off about the face sculpt apart from being too glossy. The eyes didn't look like belongs to Arnold. It suppose to look fearless & furious instead it just looks sad and that screaming face looks like he screaming of fear rather than anger. To me this is a huge disappointment as it looks nothing much like arnold. The Dolph Lundgren He-Man looks better than this.
That first movie Conan figure design they revealed looked great and I was looking forward to getting it. Then it seemed to disappear and instead we've had these other outfit designs I'm not interested in.
That figure was pushed to belong in a Conan The Destroyer wave but it looked sooo good. If it can look good by the time it gets here, I'll get it.
Conan the Barbarian is one of my all-time favorite movies. I like the look of these characters for the most part, but the body style seems a little too cartoony. Great review.

He is cool looking but I'm waiting on the Iconic Movie Pose Conan. From the pics he looks more accurate to Arnold and doesn't appear as glossy. Its kind of sad that Super 7 went the easy route on the body sculpt. They could have at least given us the pinless joints like on the TMNT.
I wish they would do better with paint, and I would have liked to have an unhelmeted head as an option. This is a disappointing figure. Thulsa looks amazing though! I missed that one. I preordered the War Paint Conan, and Snake Thulsa. Can’t wait!
I had to get him for the set, the swords and the fact that it was the only Conan I thought we'd get. I was disappointed in the choice for the few seconds this Comam is in the movie and the face sculpt for sure. Looking forward to the next 2 Conan's from super7 though. They improved the head sculpts and they're from decent scenes.

well NECA did have the Conan movie license about a decade ago. They were just statues though, but obviously they had better likeness and paint than these do.
Neca made Conan figures years ago including a pit fighter conan. The sculpts and paints were great but the articulation was extremely limited

This figure is a turd. Super7 is using outdated articulation. And plus this doesnt even look like Arnold. And super7 expects us to pay the price they want for a figure that is a turd? No thanks.

@unclassified ever watch Anthonyscustoms? He says it all. This figure is horrible. Super7 charges way to much for figures that are based on older body molds like this figure. Atleast imports and neca dont reuse outdated molds for there figures. You pay a decent price for what you get. Super7 expects you to pay for a figure that uses an old body mold. If people continue to buy crappy figures they're gonna continue to sell figures that are turds.

No excuse the thulsa doom figure has a great likeness. This is a terrible head sculpt super 7 really need to do better.
yeah the swords are wayyy too big, the atlantean its just the blade too long (should only be maybe the length of his leg total, like the size of the classics power sword) the fathers sword is crazy over sized, and remember is supposed to be broken in half, so is twice the size it should be. ...sad part is the details on them are phenominal, but I tried to reach out to super7 and have yet to hear anything back.
This is really disappointing from Super7, I feel that the QC problems on this particular figure damage my confidence in the company. Great review, thanks.
I wanting to talk to Arnold and other bodybuilders and see if they can get a company to make the famous bodybuilders and especially all the old time bodybuilders and especially all the mr. Olimpians from 1965 to 1990s. Possible figures and have a play set like a stage with curtain to pose all the bodybuilders on. Also to make bodybuilding stautes at 6 to 7 inches height and have 12 inches. I would collect all of that if the companies would put them out

I agree. Considering Hasbro does pinless for figures that are half the price is just sad on super 7s part. You would think for a 40 dollar figure they can afford to do new molds and new sculpts that aren't like 10 years old.

More like boran the barbarian horrible head sculpture and cheap looking l have been waiting years for this conan movie figures to come out an two me its hey two large in scale and cheaply made they remind me off the lord of the rings figures they were cheaply made but at least they were great looking these such large swords are great nothing else
